First the audience thirsted after her after Animal. Now that she is getting roles like that, they are mad that she is not just a doll to fantasise after and an actual woman with career who is now finally getting more work in the mainstream.

when Triptii Dimri was actually acting and doing wonderful films like bul bul , Uala etc no body cared in fact no one even know even her name but ever since she took that nude scene in animal movie the audience got attracted and hence it proves we as an indian audience want only Adult rated beauty over talent and she is capitalizing it so I we don't have rights to blame her moreover we need to be sorry to her

Well this is the best for her this is her career and unlike Khans and Akshay uncles who are staying as male leads for what feels like before my birth (That's actually true since I am 26) and casted opposite of young girl's that are of their children's age female leads can only stay that way for no longer than a decade so they have to make the bag somehow specifically outsiders. #BoycottAkshayAsMaleLead #BoycottSalmanAsMaleLead opposite of actresses over half their age.

Please! If she had kept doing movies like Bulbul or Qala, she would have been typecast as a "character actress" doing indie-arthouse/social or regional movies. Look at Konkona Sen, Nandita Das, Raima Sen. They have more talent in their little finger than Tripti, and they don't have any mainstream success. Hell, most young kids probably don't even know who they are (case in point: Ranveer Shourey in the latest Big Boss). Actors like Raveena, Kajol and Tabu started as "trophy furniture" in Ajay Devgan/Akshay/SRK movies, later as they matured and aged started getting roles in "female-oriented" movies, which release barely once or twice a year and usually on OTT. If she wants to make a career in mainstream Bollywood, whether she has talent or not, whether she likes it or not, these are the type of roles she has to do. Because most people won't pay 500rs to watch Bulbul or Qala in a multiplex, and that's the sad reality.

Yes i dont like that shes focusing more on glam than acting and getting good scripts. But then its the audience who are at a fault. When she was underrated no one knew about her and when she did the scene after that everyone focused on her. So whats her fault to focus on glam when she knows audience focus on that only. Its hypocritical. I also dont want her to become just an eye candy and wish she hadnt done the scene but then she wd not be so big. One thing which very questionable is why we focus so much on these celebs.

Dekho , no matter how you try to justify it , Tripti's fame in Animal is the worst part pf her career . Yes we did want her to achive bigger popularity and hits , but forgot what sells in the industry - sex does . Have seen many viewers complementing actors and older actresses about raw , grounded roles - but all of the praise shrinks down to "sexy or alluring" for younger actresses by the same viewers . Secondly- everyone is desperate for survival in the industry .....you can imagine how none of her 3 soulful artworks paid well , one can imagine the mental state of an actor failed by his movies multiple times - the signing up for working with such established huge actors can be understood and to some level opportunity-grabbing obvious . I can only hope for her career to be stabilized likewise to Jacob Elordi who suffered a somewhat similar fate in Hollywood

I'm not mad on her for choosing mainstream mediocre movies (like animal which is just a burning pile of shiiii) because why should not she when brilliant movies like Bulbul and Laila majnu and Qala become underrated, which just show that indian audience lacks taste. It's audience's fault that they don't appreciate raw talent but only lust after women who are turned into objects through the director's perspective. I just wish Tripti's new fanbase will pay the same patronage to the other giid movies that she'll hopefully do in the future.

It's just a jump in her career. She is talented, she wants to do commercial films, and once she gets mainstream enough she'll get good scripts and she'll have a lot of options to choose from. She NEEDS good scripts to COME HER WAY in order to do them. And uske liye she needs to get mainstream. So what? Har ek choice and har ek film perfect toh nahi ho sakti. Yes we love the grounded films and acting from Tripti. We as real real fans just need to support her through this as well, instead of hating her. Most of the actresses outside the nepo circle made their way to the top. She's way blessed than them, does 2 movies where she was the lead that too in her early career. We as a audience ignore films like Bulbul and Qala where Tripti gave her best performances and was underappreciated but when she appeared in Animal some started simping for her while some praised her performance and got to discover her other works. Her in Animal was talked about a lot even more than Rashmika who is already an established artist with a huge fan base. So it is very logical that other casting directors will offer her script with same kind of character cause she has just started her mainstream journey and anything any director offers she is bound to accept it and she will surely capitalize it. And you know what indian audience hate it when an underappreciated artist starts getting fame.

Maybe here the audience are at fault they should've praised her for her actual good movies like Laila Majnu, Bulbul and Qala but they recognized her after her scenes in Animal where she was not even playing the central character so possibly she started getting more of such roles as people liked her in the first place after seeing her in a different kind of role. Budding actors will definitely not deny roles because they want to get work but it's the audience who should recognize good movies in the first place and not blame the actor when she has clearly done amazing movies in the past where she barely got any recognition.

What I believe is -- There's a an inner circle of bollywood working, where the good character related movies only go to nepo kids like -- Alia , jhanvi , Sara . Whereas similar treatment happened with disha paatni. She was a good actress , God knows what happened and now she's just a sex doll. Similar is going to happen with tripti. She'll be pushed to take movies which show her as sex doll and eventually people are going to lose interest on her.

@@nerdynoor7516 You know I was sharing the same exact thoughts that you mentioned here on KZbin, unknowingly, with one of my friends on Instagram, if you had noticed there , alot of videos are going viral where tripti is sitting and people are commenting shit like she isn't wearing her undies. So that's what she has become. Even in animal , people saw rashmika as the actress who said her dialogues in a ridiculous way, whereas there was no discussion about tripti's acting , only her one scene. So this is what will happen. Karan Johar has given her this film to eventually destroy her career so that she can't rise against Alia etc.

Bad news was shot 2 yrs ago.. I think before Animal but got delayed and it is directed by talented Anand Tiwari of Bandish Bandits fame.. But as after Animal now everyone wants to encash on her new found popularity and sex appeal so these scenes n songs are added purposely just like Vicky's new dance number

It's tough for an outsider to work in the industry. Unfortunately that's the reality. You may be talented but until and unless you are an 'eye candy' you will always be doing really good roles but not mainstream. I don't know about others but she's definitely talented and I hope her new popularity helps her in establishing herself as a big star like Deepika, Alia or Priyanka Chopra. People need to be patient.

If only she got the role of Alamzeb in Heeramandi..Gosh! That character would have been something else. But i suppose big production houses giving her such insignificant roles ( Animal, Bad News, etc), is also a strategy to get rid of the possibilities of her getting good roles.

If she had kept doing movies like Bulbul or Qala, she would have been typecast as a "character actress" doing indie-arthouse/social or regional movies. Look at Konkona Sen, Nandita Das, Raima Sen. They have more talent in their little finger than Tripti, and they don't have any mainstream success. Hell, most young kids probably don't even know who they are (case in point: Ranveer Shourey in the latest Big Boss). Actors like Madhuri, Juhi, Raveena, Kajol, Tabu started as "trophy furniture" in Anil Kapoor/Ajay Devgan/Akshay/SRK movies, later as they matured and aged, started getting roles in "female-oriented" movies, which release barely once or twice a year. If she wants to make a career in mainstream Bollywood, whether she has talent or not, whether she likes it or not, these are the type of roles she has to do. Because most people won't pay 500rs to watch Bulbul or Qala in a multiplex, and that's the sad reality. Edit: "trophy furniture" means Tripti's role in Animal. Sirf hero ko romance karne ke liye or end me villain se bachane ke liye ek female character chahiye, wo role. Their talent isn't important, only looks and body.

@@Furrina89 Tabu's case is so inspiring because she started doing female oriented and content driven films when no one wanted to see women in those roles and just wanted to see them in glamorous eye candy roles. Over the years she has become one of the best actress in the industry her range is commendable and her filmography is amazing.

People are impossible. If they really wish her well, mainstream is not the solution. There are too few good mainstream movies that focus on highlighting the talent of an actor. I want her to experiment, although I strongly believe her paths is with smallest films and series, but which have great stories.

How can we judge her? Money comes from mainstream films...if your industry can't create good mainstream films which are also good content wise n can't give her roles in main stream which allow to show her acting talent, it's not her fault...she can do whatever she wants ..also it's totally fine for starkids to do doll roles as females then why not an outsider who already has struggled to some extent?
