Road should be minimised as much as possible to get more stand per acre, but carrying distance of FFB bunches should not too far, probably not more than 300 feet for carrying with wheel barrow. Give enough time to design the road properly, it is very important and will be there for the next 20-30 years. For areas with water and electricity supplies, workers housing should be centralised to minimise the cost, but areas with stand alone utilities, having houses in strategic position will enhance security. My opinion only. Tq.
