The problem in India is, the people with real passion for the Video games, do not have the funds to actually build it. The people with funds are not gamers themselves, they only care about revenue, from a business perspective it is right to be profitable. The gaming who are capable of delivering high quality games are all mostly western gaming companies, most Indian gaming companies put their focus in Rummy, Teen-Patti, Ludo. No hardcore gamer plays that kind of games. The developers assigned on these projects are mostly software engineers, well games are software engineering, but not in a traditional sense. Well, lot of talented Indians are working on AAA games, but they are all Western companies. Nodding head is the only Indian company, which actually delivered something good.

FAU G creator's clearly knew what they were doing by pushing the game into every social media outlets just after the PUBG ban. Saying the game underdelivered was a vast misconception. It looked like a beta version of a mobile RPG game. No matter what they do with the game, the damage has already been done.

Saldy i feel the same thing is going to happen with mumbai gullies...over promised but won't be able to deliver..they launched the trailer animation in early 2021...in igdc 2021 they showed the gameplay and said the game will be of 2 parts...1st will release late 2022 and 2nd in 2025....then in igdc 2022 they showcased the gameplay which looked quite basic and they said the game is postponed to late 2023 or early 2024 i guess...and recently on 2023 nikhil malankar made a video saying they are going to go for another round of funding for mumbai gullies( i guess in march or april 2023) so if they just got another round of funding that means they still meed to work on alot more things of the game...which shows that it may get postponed to late 2024...
