I've been a flame main for these past 2 years and its struggling bro😭 I just decided to quit deepwoken until they make my favorite attunement viable because the only combos you could really do is fire blade into something and if your opponent knows how to parry fire blade you cant really do anything. there really is no combo starters and actually no real combos at all

Flamecharm is a pretty one sided-one off attunement. However I’d still argue that flame can have combo potential with knockups like flame leap into rising flame, considering how hard it is to adjust to being launched upwards so high.

Now that I think about it, flame has no combo starters unlike how gale, ice, shadow, ironsing or thunder have, gale has gale lunge and rising, ice has ice lance and crystal impale, shadow has shadow eruption, ironsing's whole loadout is combo starters which is kind of a problem on its own, and thunder has jolt grab, no flame mantras come out fast enough for them to reliably hit or do fast mixups with

most of flames starters are off of m1 hitstun which'll segway into its faster mantras, or its fire blade guardbreak, but other than that, it doesn't really have much. You could make an argument for flame scourge i guess? but its kinda butt

@lexierdiaz6653 First of all its been proven ring of wisp does not buff healing on flame wisp(watch agamtasu video) but just increases the duration so your most likely experiencing placebo second of all of your fighting a half decent player there is no way that's happening because you need at least 2 seconds of them being on fire for 1 percent o healing and half decent player is rolling immediately so I have no idea how your healing a bar prolly a mix of bloodless and placebo wake up flame wisp is ass flame is ass your fighting drones in 700 elo

@@itspxrple545 I usually only use the guild for ganking and use other fun builds in chime (1.3k elo) but you have to realize that combos and hitstun exist, when you are hit or stuck in a parry trade your burning untill you are out of parry trade or out of hitstun or out of a 5 explosion combo, also that one talent that burns them when I dodge someone

The combo you did with gale can also be easily done with ash slam, there is no shortage of very good flamecharm combo videos on youtube, why do you complain about flamecharm mantras is easy to parry? is parry astral wind that difficult? we can argue that gale players often feint, but that doesn't mean you don't have inhale so you can't feint bruh, u should suggest to the devs to add 2 new crits for pyre keeper
