When I first became a Muslim I listened to Mufti Menk and a few others and they gave me more understanding of the Quran and of being a Muslim and I thank them and respect them. But I'm now at a different level of understanding. Muhammad pbuh didnt make his own laws or books to follow, our Messenger pbuh followed the Quran. We don't know and Muhammad didnt know who were the liers amongst him only Allah knows who they are. You can't trust most of mankind they have there own agenda and only Allah knows what there intentions were. Allah is the judge. The Quran is complete Alhamdulillah

Arabs have a science called men’s science to ensure the authenticity of the hadiths depends on many important conditions to make sure of their authenticity The Qur’an alone is not sufficient for guidance. Because the Qur’an did not do us how to pray, how to perform Hajj, etc. The hadith is a revelation from God and is important in Islam besides the Noble Qur’an

I think the Sheik is slightly wrong about totalitarian nature of Hadith. There is a lot of dodgy hadiths out there that totally contradict the Quran. To say you cannot understand the Quran without he Hadith, goes against Allah's words.

@Abbas aboud Could u provide that verse asking the prophet SAW for his forgiveness. Also in the Quran they are certain actions and stories of those times with their contexts, obviously we cannot march to Mecca and defeat the Quraysh, however when Allah SWT commands the Muslims, do not drink alcohol, you must pray, along with that is you must obey the messenger and the applies with the rest of those commands for all times and places.

Nowhere in the Quran does it say to follow the Hadiths. In fact God condemns it.The only hadith is the Quran that came out from Muhammad's mouth.Muhammad's sole duty was to deliver the Quran. When God say to obey the messenger it simply means to follow what Muhammad had been following that is the Quran. There is no such thing as the sunnah of Muhammad only God's sunnah.Sadly "muslims" have been idolising Muhammad knowingly or unknowingly,Arab doctrine and Islam are two different things.

adicats Peace and blessings The sad reality is they think they are following our Prophet pbuh but they are following hadith collectors. Allah guides who he wills.

Adicats You are a lost and confused person. First when you address the HOLY PROPHET RESPECT. AY PEACE AND BLESSINGS BE SHOWERED UPON THIER BEAUTIFUL SOUL. now do you understand that. Secondly the Holy Quran and the Hadith are like brother and sister do you understand that. The whole concept everything that is in the hadith in detail is Islam the sunnah. Everything was recorded and memorised. Do you understand

The term hadiths means the sayings of the prophet SAW, the Quran commands muslims to obey the messenger and part of that message the Quran is the the messenger otherwise Allah would not have asked the prophet SAW to explain the message.

adicats Firstly, you should say (SALLALLAHU ALAYHI WA SALLAM ) when you say the name of the Messenger. Hadith of the Rasul of Allah ( SALLALLAHU ALAYHI WA SALLAM) include the words, actions, instructions, advices of the Prophet (SALLALLAHU ALAYHI WA SALLAM). We cannot fully obey the Messenger (SALLALLAHU ALAYHI WA SALLAM) until we learn from his Seerah and follow his way. Btw, the instructions about five daily prayers, how many rakahs should we pray, how to pray, etc are not mentioned in Quran in details. So, I think it would be wise for us Muslims to follow Quran which tells to obey the Messenger (SALLALLAHU ALAYHI WA SALLAM) in multiple places. "Whoever obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah; but those who turn away - We have not sent you over them as a guardian." Surah Nisa No.4 Ayah 80 May Allah guide us.

Look at ignorance of these commentators and the confidence in which they type their nonsense! They worship whatever their community worships they can’t think to save their lives!
