If you play any game with that mindset you won't have fun. Right now Fortnite is the best it has been in a long time, we have consistent updates, a solid map, map changes, and we have zero build. Sure the loot pool isn't the best but still. If people start playing with the mindset of, "This game can be fun," then they will have more fun.

I really like this video. One of the reasons I choose to watch your channel daily, is because I can tell, that yo do some heavy introspection and see the way you are doing things, you are not just in pilot mode grinding videos, but trying to grow and contribute something different/worthy to the community. I'm possible not as young as many fellows around here (28), and can identify myself with many of the topics you are mentioning. You´ve definetely came a long way and have a lot of success and that shows not only, in the large audience of this channel, but also how big your other channels got overtime, even including a dog related one that has nothing to do with your niche. I guess what Im trying to say is, I see the grind, i see the effort and I see the rewards of all your hard work, and in a way that inspires me to keep going in my daily life and in my job as well. I hope you continue in this path, and keep doing what makes you happy and sharing it with us. Thanks for reading!

Thanks for doing a video like this. Sometimes its jus been because of my studies but other times i just felt lazy or dint want to upload more vids. When ur getting the views and a lotta subs its motivating for sure, but its hard to keep urself motivated once ur viewership starts to fall as sypher also pointed out. The journey has its ups and downs but imma try to keep going. Thanks for making dis vid sypher. Really relatable and points out some important behind the scenes stuff that goes on . Peece

I think another reason that people don’t talk about is when you are now starting being a KZbinr, even though u may be demotivated, you still know to yourself that this is what u want to do so u keep grinding Now when u become a big KZbinr, and you get demotivated, you typically stop creating content and blame it on mental health (which is a big real issue) But the money you earned while being a big KZbinr, is enough motivation to not want to continue creating content because some people feel like they accomplished life So they ultimately retire

Fortnite has changed too much. The game itself has improved but the environment and players have gotten worse. The content and updates and stuff of the game has been improving over the last year or so probably, however the game has gotten so much more toxic sweaty and competitive so unless you love that stuff the game hurts. It’s gone from a video GAME into a video COMPETITION. The game doesn’t focus on fun like it used to, or at least the players don’t. It doesn’t matter how good the game is what matters is the players and community, which has gone from wholesome and fun to toxic and sweaty. If the game moves back into a focus on fun the game can become good for everyone again, content creators especially.

Too many wrong or unnecessary changes in Fortnite , sweaty players , toxic community and greedy Epic Games = chaos
@ChibiOnVR2 жыл бұрын
the game has tried to make a focus on fun but (most) players refuse to let it be that way. They nerfed the pump so you don't get instakilled? players say every shotgun sucks despite the fact you can still pump someone to where they are now on super low hp. They add things with a higher ttk? players say they are too op (looking at you charge smg, because despite you taking 4 seconds to charge up you still are overpowered compared to the rapid fire or the minigun apparently). Like people were complaining about the tanks but they weren't even that strong either compared to actually overpowered things like mechs or mythic rarity smgs. People will simply find something to complain about no matter what.
@DergyDauog2 жыл бұрын
@@ChibiOnVR Exactly. There are some things worthy of complaints like Brutes but people aren’t thinking about the fun aspect of things. Tanks were amazing and I had a lot of fun with them but people said they were op when they had at least 7 weak spots of some point to disable the thing. Once the sweaty kids find something they can’t just crank on and kill instantly they say it’s op.
@ChibiOnVR2 жыл бұрын
@@DergyDauog even mechs were counterable in their prime (at least in solos). All you had to do was build a ramp so the mech is away from the ground, and then jump off when he shoots the missiles and you will avoid them and their splash damage. You also have the benefit of jumping in the mech and instantly self destructing it in solos, and I actually killed players because they DID not expect someone to actually be good at fighting mechs using their own self destruct feature.
@DergyDauog2 жыл бұрын
@@ChibiOnVR They we’re counterable if it was you vs the mech. Getting third partied by a mech was a death sentence before the nerf to the amount of missiles. It’s stupid how complainy people were after they nerfed the missile count and added the laser. They weren’t that bad after that because they didn’t insta kill without you knowing one was behind you.

I used to love this game, but I’ll be honest, it just doesn’t feel the same anymore. I started chapter 1 s5, and around the end of chapter two I quit. I don’t quite know what it was that changed, maybe the lack of very good cosmetics as of recent, like half of the new skins have been colabs. Maybe it’s the lack of simplicity, all these new weapons, new maps, new artsyle, I miss those old, wacky new weapons, the grappler, boogie bombs etc. and that combined with the repetitive gameplay loop, has overall driven me away from the game.

This is such a well spoken video all the points are realistic I’m so glad that I still always am hyped for the next season of every fortnite season.

Tbh i see being a youtuber as more of a nightmare than a dream job. Even playing a few hours here and there I eventually lose interest for gales, I just can’t imagine playing 8 hours a day for a job with pressure to do well on top. That’s not my idea of a good life.

While I am not a YTber, I brainstorm and create Tik Toks in almost all the spare time I get off. I have gained 2m+ followers and I am so grateful. For anyone starting out, keep grinding, you got this !!

Burnout is a strong sign of mental health deterioration. Grinding is not working hard, is ignoring your mind telling you to take a break. Do that, talk about it.

Sypher should have his own talk show seriously

This type of content is so necessary for budding creators. I don't think most people know how much time and energy go into your "job". And it is a job, so it's not always fun.

I like when you pure talk and putting relevant footage and not pretending to be playing a match while recording it

These are all really good points. I don’t have a strong viewership and community, and I have lost motivation because of this. It gets to the point where you either want to try something else are even switch to a new game but then you realize that you’ll never get popular on a different game because there are already popular players on that game. People are lucky the age they were when fortnite came out because they were the rising stars, but now, there are no new games that popped off as well as fortnite so it’s hard for new players to grow a community. I really regret making my channel based on fortnite creative, because it’s just not popular yet until creative 2.0. It is hard and I’m stuck.

At this point, the game has gotten way too sweaty so fun gets thrown out and that's why "content" for the game is scarce. They need to do big changes to pubs to make the game way less sweaty like completely and permanently remove turbo building.

@@jaygunny8402 hey its great that you like zero build 👍🏾, but I just can't part with building in the game. I play like how I use to play back in Ch1 just sitting in my base somewhere in circle but more aggressive and willing to get in fights more

Great explanation, personally the way Epic treat the community I'd love to see everyone quit the game!

I usually don’t mind if creators take a break from uploading. They can do whatever they want to do. Like why would you get mad or hate the youtuber bc he has a life like bruh.

I feel all this stuff, when I started my channel, it was based around IOS fortnite, so when it was banned, I had to switch to weather content to keep my channel alive

Ik this has to do with it but I think you are famous cause you are a cool guy and I think it’s awesome that you can do this. Do what you want man with your career don’t listen to what other people say
