The events of FNAF 2 actually happen AFTER the events of FNAF 1 and FNAF 4, making it impossible for Charlie to have been the first one to die and possess Puppet seeing as Puppet wasn’t even made yet. First child to ACTUALLY die was Evan Afton (youngest Afton child), his death starting this entire thing. Though another theory is Cassidy (the other child to possess Golden Freddy along with Evan) actually died before Evan and was the one who guided Evan as Psychic Friend Fredbear.

Foxy isn't important sadly. Keep in mind, FNaF 4's bite is *not* the beginning of all the events. In that game, we already have heavy implications that some of the animatronics are posessed. Chances are, multiple employees have already died. Charlie also has likely died. Due to lack of appearance, it's possible Elizabeth has also already kicked the bucket some time before 4's Minigames. Not to mention the very, very huge implication of Bite Victim having seen a murder take place at some point. If Foxy did not exist, the timeline would remain the same. Michael would have just worn a different mask.
