I get why stetson gets some of the hate, he is cocky, brash, confident, and unapologetic for his play style. But, if your still hating on stetson becuase you just dont think a walk on QB should be doing what he is doing. Then YOU clearly dont understand the concepts behind practice, maturity, and improving ones crafts, athletic abilities, and lastly mental capabilities to reach higher levels of performance of their crafts! He has done this on national TV in HDTV so everyones eyeballs can soak it up. This kid has literally improved from A walk on/juco QB to THE starting Qb for the defending national champions and looking for his next goal of turning himself and his team mates into REPEAT national champions!!!!!! Amazing how some people wont believe what they have seen, Stetson do for the last 2 years, with their own 2 eyeballs. Instead they will believe a 1/2 paragraph some college scout wrote about stetson when they ranked him as a 3 star QB..... from 7 years ago!!! Why is it so hard to believe this kid IMPROVED his game over the last 3 years?? He has done it right in front of your face!! But still no respect from them, just continued bashing of SB4. I believe the haters are wishing and praying that TCU beats UGA just so they can say- I TOLD U SO!! stetson sucks he's a walk on, he chokes in big games, we cant win 2 titles with HIM (which is a little late and dollar short since he already won a title) I just wish they could enjoy what UGA and Bennett are doing, on this historical run, with the rest of us dawg fans!! GO DAWGS!!!!

I've listened to Stet in dozens of interviews, and he's a humble enough guy who always credits his team and his coaches. He's also never been afraid to admit his mistakes and own his bad decisions. That's a rarity in any marquee athlete, to say nothing of your average college kid. I have never been able to understand the virulent hatred that so many have for him -- just bizarre. The national media, until very, very recently, have either ignored him, or credited his wins almost like they're "despite Stetson," instead of because of him. With very few exceptions -- particularly with ESPN's crew -- Stet has been an afterthought, and always shelved in favor of any west-coast, big-market, or non-white quarterback. Stet will win Monday night, and his recognition is long, long overdue.

There is not a better QB that has ever walk the field at Ga . He is a winner!! Any coach that don’t want Stetson Bennett as a quarterback probably shouldn’t be coaching. Look at QBs he has beaten!!we lose to Ohio st with out Stetson !!

1000% agree! I firmly believe that Stetson Bennett is the greatest college QB of all time. Especially if we praise Tom Brady as the goat in the NFL. The bottom line is, the greatest player(s) in any sport are the ones who earned the most success. I think Stet has accomplished the most of any QB ever by a wide margin. He took the longest & hardest road and still out-paced everyone else around him. Not only on the UGA roster, not only historically significant UGA players, not only every other QB during his time, but every other QB in the history of this sport. We have never ever seen anything like it before & I am so so so proud of that young man. I’m so happy that he won me over back in the start of 2020 & has taken me on the ride of a dawg fans’ lifetime ever since. I will tell my kids and grandkids about getting to see him play live once. It’s truly unbelievable. What a legendary young man we’ve been able to watch play for OUR favorite team!

If youre a Stetson hater this season is your worst nightmare. Last season you could get by by saying he got carried by the historic defense, but this year not so much. Stetson has played out of his mind this season and he has actually carried the Defense a bit this season. Look at the most recent example with ohio st. Stetson had to win that game and he pulled through. I expect Stetson will go all out on Monday. Itll be his last time putting on a UGA uniform so you better believe he's gonna lay it all out

I wonder to myself what is the reason for this narrative….? Is the average Georgia fan just starving for a hero? Have we been beat down and heartbroken for so long, that now we are on top and don’t know how to handle our emotions? We don’t know how to just enjoy being the best, we have to create additional unnecessary feel good stories? Because there is absolutely no reason for the majority of Georgia fans to be crowning Stetson as the GOAT. That is just ridiculous. Yes he had a couple of memorable drives, and a few really good games. And those moments should be recognized, talked about, and Legge should write about them in his next book, so that they are never forgotten about. BUT- for most of Stetsons career he has been an average quarterback - at best. In fact, the entire Georgia program had elevated itself after Kirby’s arrival, and for a while Stetson was probably the one player that was holding us back. He is a decent quarterback, on a great team, within the best program in college football. The GOAT talk is complete nonsense.

Kirby didn't seem to think Stetson was holding us back. He stuck with him. If Beck, Vandagriff or Stockton fail to deliver, which I hope they don't, I fully expect to see you here posting critical comments about them as well. You may actually end up with the QB you accuse Stetson of being.
