Like the total difference in playing style of BVB in CL and Germany rarely ever gets mentioned when talking about the omission of Hummels in the current squad. Probably one of the most over rated players in the Asian stage, sure he is decent but he is no where near players like Heung min Son, Kim min Jae, Mitoma, Park Ji-sung, Or hell even Minimito

Gündogan is NOT a key player and he has never had one good or great game with the national team, not matter how well he played for ManCity. And to make him captain was outright stupid. It remains to be seen if Sane was so shite since October just because of his injury or if he is just completely out of form. I think it was mostly the latter and only toward the end of the season the former. So apart from that Arsenal game and that one half in the home game against Madrid, he was poor.

Rüdiger is a clown the way he sometimes attacks the opponent and risks a yellow card or scampers forward like a madman. And there is no real QB on the team. I have not seen Anton line up a pass like Hummels or Boateng could.
