The Spanish were NOT better this time, just more frigging lucky and clinical. And we made two amateurish mistakes that led to the goals. And we had Havertz, of course, that bum who never hits the target, but is only good for tap-ins and penalties. Oh, and what about that handball by Cucurella? Freaks me the f... out that pens are not given when they are crystal clear. At that time assuming that bum Havertz puts it in we lead 2:1 and I would have wanted to see Spain get the equalizer and not concede again.

Chung Mong-Kyu needs to be SACKED. S-A-C-K-E-D. OUT. We said this when Hong Myung-bo lost to Algeria in 2014, we said this when Ulie Stielike lost to Qatar and China in 2016, we said this when Klinsmann zombified our players last year and we said it again when our Olympics team got knocked out for the first time in almost 40 years. But Mong-Kyu genuinely believes by pretending the general Korean people and their opinions don't exist, everything is good as usual. He's extremely stubborn and won't lend an ear, let alone step down. I hope somewhere and somehow, he gets dragged down, financially or politically. Whatever it takes at this point.

I'm less concerned on the travels. Last WC we had the same Gulf Cup group and topped it. What I'm far more concerned this time however is how KFA will ruin the momentum of Korean players. Our biggest weakness won't be coming from our players this round; it'll be the KFA themselves.

Why back the manager? Just a couple of days ago he was on the media saying he ain't taking that job and then boom, he claims to be "sacrificing" himself for Korea. What a load of crap from both the manager and the KFA. The KFA didn't even hold a job interview for this guy lol.

Not to mention, KFA said managers from abroad are "too expensive" and yet they decide to pay this dude with the same level of salary as those managers from abroad. And if he was "sacrificing" himself, why is he taking all that money??? He should be managing the team for free.
@dysanospa
@dysanospa 23 сағат бұрын
@@user-vq2nb1kx2u I understand the criticisms of him and I agree he made a selfish decision, but him taking the job is down to the KFA’s inability to do their jobs properly in the first place. They unnecessarily put him in a difficult position and he unfortunately bit the bullet. At the end of the day, it’s the results on the pitch that matter and I think it’s only fair to judge him based on actual games instead of articles and stories that are flooding the web. He can’t back out now so might as well hope he does well and I’m sure the players do as well.

Agree to disagree but other pundits including Archie Rhind-Tutt would agree with my assessment. When was the last time Germany played well with a false nine? What is the point of having someone like Havertz create chances if they can't finish any of them? I recall in 2014, Loew had to bench Gotze for Klose because the attack was disjointed At Euro 2016, they had a similar problem and looked much better with Mario Gomez Instead of using personal attacks, I recommend engaging in the nuance of the conversation

@@BibimBallers Well, fair enough, but your statement about the Spanish being better than us is just nonsensical, sorry. They were better in the first 20 and maybe overall the first half, but also mainly because of our many mistakes losing the ball. In the second half and in extra time I think we had them on the ropes, but of course, failed spectacularly in defense ad offense. That much is true. Havertz is neither a no. 10 nor a 9. He is a tapper in-ner, nothing more. And don't even get me started on Sane, injury or not.

@@musashimiyamoto586 Spain finished their chances and didn't make any HUGE blunders in defense. That's what determines whether you win or lose in a tournament. The only mistake Spain's manager made was taking out Yamal early in the second half. You didn't "know" that because it simply isn't true. The team simply plays much more fluidly with Havertz in the centre of attack. It's as simple as that. And pretty much every decent analyst has agreed with that in recent weeks. Füllkrug may have the more typical player profile as a striker. But he falls too far behind the others in the combination game. And even in his very own area of responsibility, he failed in this game when he put a completely unchallenged header past the goal. If anything, Nagelsmann could be criticised for not having the courage to bring on a more mobile player like Beier. Taking Gündogan and Sane off at half-time may also have been a mistake. Havertz certainly wasn't.

The midfields dont provide passing options from the back. Basic ball handling sucks. Why not give change even only for 20 mins, replace Antonee Robinson and others at the back, they are always being dispossed or often executes HOSPITAL PASSES. The players are arrogant in believing they don’t need a proper manager and they can score screamers endlessly. Berhalter is a poor manager, but the players for some reason think he's good enough.
