Recently the US of A suddenly gave india some form of attention .. what was it? Praising India for having massive Lithium deposits (which has not been verified by ANY Indian geological institutes.) There will need to be further agenda as to what the USA wants to do with India with such sudden praise and attention (it is not looking good.)

Yea i am from Germany. Our current ruling Party of the Greens says it even outright that there are "too many humans" and that we must reduce our carbon footprint (People are Carbon). The Coalition partner of the Conservative parties mirrors their rhetoric. If you ask a 18-25 Year old (I work a lot with students) they all share this view. It's odd how homogeneous their worldview is. They talk a lot of compassion for the average person but enable a lot of things that are harmful. We are for example about to legalize incest, hard drug use and have already legalized euthanasia just as well as various medical procedures that cause sterilization - state funded for free and its advocated. Cost of living crises and food items like meat have already gone up about +200% in price. Just 2 Years ago 500 grams of Chicken was about 4€ now its 9€. Though we are told inflation is 20~%. Also a law was just passed that causes houses that are build right now and in future to go up in costs by 50%. Just out of nowhere. We are also handing out a heck ton of money for social programs and assistance causing more inflation for a short term gain, such as 200€ Energiebonus. I could go on forever. Everything is destructive but done for mislead ideals. No idea if I will have a future in this country. Thinking about migrating [...], the people here especially the youth have no future and they cannot comprehend their deeds. Just too fanatical.

The green movement seems to love government with a passion. Big business also seems to love it. Every large corporation I have worked for had a green program. I think they are not a fan of small businesses because that is who the policy hurts the most.

Most green movement involves subsidy from the government to big corporations, with politicians gaining political credit or mileage for paying heed to the environment. The subsidy comes from increases taxes (called carbon taxes, or some other names). Politicians are using public's money to look good. But this cannot be substained over the long run. I find it almost impossible to believe that hydro, wind and solar energy can meet Germany's needs by 2035.

France is the only country in the Europe which has an independent foreign policy and more than their 80% of the energy needs are fulfilled by Nuclear energy. Germany is a country which is highly influenced by US or technically a US Vassal state. Now, you can guess why they are disarming their nuclear power plants as they have to follow the narratives from US and EU than just actually moving towards a sustainable green energy option.

Cheap energy like we have now frees mankind, expensive energy or no energy will enslave millions.

"Cost effective" This is the kind of thinking that created this problem in the first place. Problem: Environmental costs are invisible to the free market unless mandated by government policy. If we follow wherever 'cheap' energy takes us, we'll be paying trillions in environmental damage. And no, green energy being more polluting than gas is untrue. A life cycle assessment by NREL says as follows: Solar 40g Co2e/kwh Wind 18g Co2e/kwh Gas 500g Co2e/kwh Coal 1001g Co2e/kwh Source Dw planet a, How green is solar energy really?

Excellent video! My two cents on EV. There are many challenges in EV car adoption. Some of them are: 1. Lack of charging infrastructure. A massive investment is required to come up with a workable solution. 2. Upgradation of the electrical grid to handle the excess peak load, which will be a real challenge if more than 30% vehicles are EV. 3. Ability to handle discarded Li ion batteries after they reach their end life. Remember, each car will throw up about 400 kgs or more of Li ion batteries. 4. Increasing electricity production by whatever means. It would mostly be thermal and gas fired plants. 5. Ability to source critical metals for EV production i.e. Lithium, cobalt, silver, copper, nickel among others. While these are being used in conventional cars, their requirements for EV production will be manifold. Most of them come from China, Russia, African countries etc. Remember the 'chip shortage' a year back!

8:46 Green Ideology: - Local Control - Local Responsibility - Distributed Production - De-centralization - Self-sustenance Green Ideology is against: - Dependency - Centralization - Corporate control - Corporate ownership - Concentrated production NO BIG BUSINESS
@scot6089

Green ideology is all about dependence. Dependence on a centralized global government. People who are arbitrarily anti-capitalist should be more careful about their willingness to give up their sovereignty. They should be careful as to who they are giving their sovereignty up to, especially their children's. They should consider why the sudden push for Green Ideology is taking place simultaneously across the globe. Why is there such an aggressive anti-family movement taking place around the world? Why is there such an incredible push for chaos all over the world? I'm only 60 but this is unlike anything I've ever seen before.

Quite a lot of Errors in this video. - Rare earth. Not rare at all. Most wind turbines are now free of Nd and Dy. - It's during construction anyway. During 30y operations, Nothing is consumed. - Energy intensive. Not more than other process. - Energy Intensive. It's more and more clean energy anyway, as we progress on the transition curve. - Solar electricity is generated during the day. Which is also when human activity is at its peak. - Wind is stronger during Winter, solar stronger during Summer. - Solar and Wind are usually used to feed pumped hydro to address the top of the duck curve. - There is a huge interconnected network in Europe so that electricity is rarely produced where it is consumed. - Nobody claimed that EVs will "solve all these problems". We need a multi-pronged approach, Of which EVs are part. - Lithium is only one way to make batteries. Solid state batteries are coming soon and will free us from the dependency to Li. - Nuclear power is as clean as wastes that last for 100s of 1000s of years, - Nuclear is as safe as Fukushima can tell. Damages are estimated to around ONE TRILLION dollars - France is not mastering anything anymore. Not cracks in pipes, not budget overruns and not delays - Wastes management in Germany costs tens of billions of Euros because old salt mines full of wastes now have to be cleared up and the wastes have to be moved "somewhere else" - Decommissioning of nuclear power points cost decades and cost billions of euros - There are virtually no private nuclear energy corporate. I think decentralisation in solor energy is cool idea as one can install and save and become independent of government energy we can avoid the power cuts etc . Like the weak wire problem.. And green energy in West is going to be controlled by big business i don't think it's gonna be completely decentralised I own a lot of shares from green energy company of the us

But nuclear energy isnt clean/green/renewable,etc. Why? Simple, they produce nuclear waste which cant be disposed. It need to be stored away and this causes polution over entire regions for thousend of years!. (The region where is is stored). And if its properly stored.

Angela Merkel, who put all these policies in place, was raised in East Germany (ie the Soviet Union). These green policies will destroy the German economy, taking with it the EU or will make Germany totally dependent on Russian gas. Ask yourself, just who was Angel Merkel working for?

I was never in favor of EVs, the damage you will do to produce those batteries and then charge the vehicle is huge, and still you will not get the performance of IC engines, Green Lobby can carry on their communist agenda or whatever XYZ agenda, but India should invest in Ethanol IC engines to replace petrol, and not madly go after EVs, also we need to reduce our dependency on Coal power plants, we are building new Nuke power plants which is good, but since we have immense potential for hydropower we should aggressively push for more Hydropower, and our Wind and Solar power programs can go side by side for additional power requirements, Offices, Schools, Factories all operate during the day, so Solar power will definitely help us

One could argue that if Germany can make it work and maintain it's industrial edge -- then anyone can do it. I dont think that's going to end up happening, however. Renewable energy systems become significantly more expensive to service and maintain as more energy storage mechanisms that are added to the system. German manufacturing will likely move to other countries that utilize more energy dense energy sources.
