Ghost is a really good summoner spells and can outperform flash if you use it well. Many champions dont need flash and ghost will allow them to carry harder and win more games.

as a hecarim main i can confirm that all of this is true. Its especially deadly on heca because of his passive making ghost both an ms steroid and an attack damage steroid at the same time. But i might try that inspiration rune set out in a couple games as it might be really good. But im not sure its worth dropping sudden impact and relentless hunter.

I like the idea of taking ghost, but as a Vi main it just doesn't make sense to me to give up my Q > Flash combo.

Yeah it makes more sense on champions that dont have a spell that synergizes with flash. Same with Lee Sin, you need flash for most combos.

My thoughts exactly, but it doesn't sound that bad to run ghost on Vi. How many times do you have the chance to make a big play with q+flash combo? for me it is 2-3 per match at most, and rarely flashing over walls to hit a Q. Using ghost+q does not have that element of surprise but it would help in reducing the movement speed slow of the q and add extra stickiness.

I've been thinking about ghost instead of flash on Nidalee for a while. Although the Flash + W is a thing, the longer chasedown of ghost while being able to hop walls regardless with W makes it seem better in many situations. Of course this would also depend on if enemy has big abilities that need to be flashed away from, but I feel like it's at least worth investigating. Biggest thing discouraging me from it is that I don't see any high elo Nidalees doing it and I've been trying to find out why that is, but no one really talks about it. Thanks for the video!

What do you think of Graves with Ghost? i've been using it and being able to find more ganks/catchs in the jungle early, but you give up your Q+Flash combo which has insane value sometimes in the late game.

I think Ghost is very viable on Graves, sometimes you use E or W just to get in range to deal your damage and with Ghost and Ghostblade (if you run that) you should be able to run down most champions and dodge CC with your E instead of using it to get in range.

Me and my friends always joke about flash abuse and when we play together most of us don’t use it. The main champ I still run flash on (top main) is riven and aatrox because riven flash w q3 and aatrox flash e q3 is so impactful that it’s worth the longer cd

Only reason to run flash is get over walls and flash e for root so it is preference
