I have a girl, we've crossed the intimacy boundary, but haven't had sex yet. She asked me if she could stay with me after our last date. She got covid, couldn't come. Actually incorrect, if she has displayed high interest and you keep " doing things" to keep her interested it will communicate neediness and approval seeking behaviour to which she will keep creating more distance. Bobby, I agree with all the points you mentioned. The elephant in the room that is never pointed at is the hormonal cycle. When women are going through the estrogenic phase of the cycle (end of the periods all the way till about day 18 of the cycle) and then through the luteal phase of the cycle (from day 18 to about day 28 of the cycle), the often display sexual and affectionate behavior. It is often towards the end of the cycle and during the periods when the hormones above drop that they start acting cold and uninterested. I found it very useful to just pay attention to the day of the cycle. I can then lower my expectations and be distant till things turn around again. I hope this helps

So the same thing is happening to me, I have been dating / have gone on dates with her about 4 times now, the first two dates went great, amazing conversation, easy to get on with , (and even made out on the second date,) third date went ok, so she was cold when we met up, but then she got close later on in the evening (made out again), fourth date, again she was warm to begin with, and then we went to the cinema, she acted cold/ distant, then later acted warm and came towards me, then cold again, and then later on acted cold and left me without a proper goodbye, (at this point I talked to her about the way our relationship was going, and she didn't know what to say) , but then she messaged me afterwards saying she wanted to see how our relationship to progress and she planned to meet up again on the weekend.
