Population decline is a good trend for India. The country doesn't have enough opportunities for its citizens. This will reduce unemployment, unhealthy competition, total waste produced and develop better infrastructure for education, health and work.

I've been married for 7 year's now. I don't want kids because of the stress and corruption in our society and I don't want them to face what I have faced in my lifetime. Question is, how are we going to solve this issue? Thank you for your awesome and informative videos.

We need 50-60 crore people to have high living standards. We shouldn't think of replacement as of now. First let population drop to 70 crore then push for replacement fertility

Population decline is a good trend for India, but it should be checked that this trend is equally effective on all religions, or any particular religion is increasing their own population.

I think india should have a population near to 500 million, then we can provide better opportunities to people and overall living conditions will drastically increase, labour force reduction can be compensated by AI. Less competition, better environment, beautiful life!

At present it's good to have 2.1 TFR in India but proportions of different different sects and religion also need to be maintained at the same level to maintain harmony amongst Indians.

More people more economy more GDP doesn’t translates to quality of life not to mention environmental impact, more and more carbon foot print. TFR should be less than 2 for many years so that world population comes to a sustainable levels. Then after we can maintain 2.1 TFRs.

In a world where only 10 people have 76% of the world's total wealth!! There is no need to worry about the economy if the population decreases, those who are there are suffering from unemployment. Let's reduce the population, 200-300 years from now, people will at least adapt to the situation again.

People are totally getting it wrong. Population decline is good in every aspect. Concern about old age population: how can it be problem? Old people gonna die anyway. So there will be normal dependency in long run . it's not like for economic growth you need more people. If there are less people then you need to produce less and consume less
