Why God Lets Bad Things Happen To Christians

Thank you; I needed this. The first of the year, our warehouse manager told us we were getting a raise and a safety bonus on our next paycheck. A couple days later, we get told our warehouse is closing the doors in 60 days (March 8), so happy new year and good luck 😢. I have been so scared I can't think straight, sleep well, or eat without getting sick. I hope Jesus has a rescue plan for us, because this is a small town and we already lost one of our bigger businesses - they are moving to Mexico. I wish we had a Christian company in our town that offered decent pay and insurance.

I'm sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, the economical landscape is not looking very good right now. Hang tight. Lean on Jesus. Meanwhile, maybes versus comfort you: [Matthew 6:26-34] Look at the birds of the sky, that they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather crops into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more important than they? And which of you by worrying can add a single day to his]life’s span? And why are you worried about clothing? Notice how the lilies of the field grow; they do not labor nor do they spin thread for cloth, yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith! 31 Do not worry then, saying, ‘What are we to eat?’ or ‘What are we to drink?’ or ‘What are we to wear for clothing?’ For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. Thank you Sir ! i think i have on going even worse story , but i am surviving . To me no point telling others , all they do mock ......Jesus is my hope alone And am counting on Him till ... ? God Bless you! Sir, for sharing what you went through .
