6 years back, my 1 year cat was knocked by a bike and broke her jaw and many teeth and her hind leg was dislocated. Vet said jaw cant be repaired. Leg was put in plaster. We wondered how she would eat. But this cat taught me a lot. Cats are resilient and tackle only the present moment. She cooperated during all the treatment, started eating too. She gave kittens, cared and played with them. Dogs are frightened of her. I have actually seen her chasing a dog at full speed. When she gave kittens at my house and they grew up, she shifted to the adjacent building and left my home territory to them. I find my life solutions when i look at her behaviour.

When pets die that have been cherished, another pet shows up like they were guided or sent to you,sometimes quickly, sometimes a year or two later. We have cats show up demanding to stay at our home. The only one that did not stay brought us the one that did stay and then went to live at a different house. We tried to let them both stay, but cats want what cats want and I do not argue since they pick us, not the other way around!

I rescued a kitten back in 2016. It took me 5 weeks to get her to trust me and come home with me. It was a tough time in my life with injuries and doctor visits, working, and physical therapy appointments. I didn't want a kitten at the time because of how my life was back then. She got me through 2 surgeries, the loss of my lifelong job, and then the pandemic. She was an amazing cat, funny, playful, and most importantly my best friend. Sadly I lost her to an intestinal obstruction back in August of 2023. She was only 7 years young and I still miss her every day. I have adopted a new friend. Cats really do make an impact on our lives.🙏👍

I rescued a Mama cat and her 4 two day old kittens abandoned in a house getting ready for demolition. I will never forget that night...as I placed each kitten in the carrier with their mama...I made a vow to protect and keep them all safe and loved. All are spayed, one neuter and vaccinated...I keep my kitties inside. They are now just over a year old. They bring me joy everyday....Amazing that they get along so well together. I hope I live long enough to see them through their lives as I am a senior.

When I bought my trailer, my cat came with it. He was a strictly outdoor cat. I honestly can’t remember how it came about that he started coming inside, I just started feeding him and we got closer and closer. I know the little guy loves me too. I feel so much love for Boo when I pet him. It even makes me happy when I feed him or when he jumps up and naps on my lap. I hope since he stays in with me when it’s cold that he’ll live longer than the average outdoor cat.

I had a cat for almost 18 years. this is all true and I believe they bring good luck! Worst day of my life was when she went to rainbow bridge. 2 days later my luck went to crap. I got into an altercation with a biker club on my way home from picking her ashes up from the veterinarian clinic. I didn't get assaulted by the club but we had words at a red light. I just shot out of there real fast when the light went green. I still miss my cat everyday and it's been 5 years she's been gone. Time hasn't healed that wound!😿

I’ve had cats all of my 74 years. I was recently given a three year old cat that took some time for both of us to learn each other’s way, now we get along famously. There is one slight caveat however. In my old age, I guess the chemical changes as we age has caused me to develop an allergy to my cat. My eyes itch and water constantly when I’m around her, and my nose itches almost incessantly. I take allergy medicine and it helps somewhat, I still suffer a bit. I love my tabby, and she loves me very much, and shows and tells me constantly. I’d rather put up with the physical irritation than to disown my cat. I recently lost my wife of forty five years, so my little girl kitty is a great companion.

There are some cat foods out now that are supposed to help reduce the allergens in cat hair and dander. Something like that might help. I agree, though. I’d rather deal with a bit of irritation than give up my kitty.

At 73,I have never been without a cat. Over my life, must have had 30,each one have such a special impact on my life . Our precious dog passed away suddenly. Beyond heartbroken over Chico. I prayed to God as only knew how dad resued several dog & cats So this time, I was leaving our next precious pet all up to him. But God knew it had to be a rescue. I work at Walmart,and about 2 weeks later a dear work friend, found a 5 week old kitten and told me where he was. It's now 5 years later and Willie is a cranky one,yet affectionate at the same time. My kitty Sherbet came to me right after 9-11-O1 and I had just hit a bottom so to speak a few weeks earlier spending a few days in the hospital I was born in many years earlier. Sherbet lived for over twenty years and died in my arms early in the morning of March 3 rd, 2022. She kept me from giving up hope and was a loving, faithful companion. Still miss her every day. There is definitely some truth in this, we had our boy for 3 years he wasn't a cat that liked to sit on laps ,though he did like being fussed, then he started to sit on my lap and followed me around house ,which I thought was odd ,then couple months later I got diagnosed with cancer ,he stayed by me licking my hands ,bless him he knew before me ,it might of been the cent apparently when you got cancer you let of a smell ?I call him my therapy cat ,so blessed ❤

I have got my cat by buying her after reading a newspaper sales advert. I raised her as kitten. She was a bit boisterous. But confident. So always liked her. But she also had a gentleness about how she communicated with me. She was never aggressive. At one point a bad person pushed her outside from the 2nd floor of my flat. She HID for 2 weeks. But I managed to reunite with her after calling her name one evening. She was very very traumatised and thin. Since then our bond is unbreakable. The fact that she managed to survive alone showed me her high levels of intelligence. 😊

They really do. They patrol their territory. I had a cat wake me during a burglary attempt. I didn't even know until the next day when I saw the lock on the door was jimmied. I didn't know why he woke me at the time as he slept at my feet every night and never woke me. I thought I forgot to feed him. I occasionally look out the front window of my home. Across the street, is a church. On a particular afternoon, I chose to look out the window, and running from the church's driveway to mine was this orange tabby kitten, about 8 weeks old. I quickly went into my yard, and for the next week, I built up my relationship with him. He's now a year old, and since he's wanted to cuddle from early on, I've named him CuKi; for CUddly KItty. I had cats from the time I was a child till today I am 59 years old, the last I had was a Persian cat 9 years old n my my gave me 2 Persian mix kitten a month back. My big cat Bengie was run over my ertiga car in front of my house which was sitting in front it went over her back when she was coming in n broke her back into powder n pelvic got damaged.i tried my best doctor dais we have to put him to sleep but I was not ready I had hope of her getting well she used to drink milk n eat food but last 2 days she would not take anything only pain killer after every 8 hours, it happened last Tuesday today a week , she was suffering silently would not show me I used to speak to her n she used to respond to me sometimes she wanted something she she used to call me maa.,..maa, yesterday I had to put her to sleep which I could not do as she was suffering n I to a goodbye video of me n her responding to me n convincing me she knew she was going, weeping, it gave a blow to my heart as if I lost one party of my body. Miss you my darling Bengie God have mercy on you untill we meet again. It was yesterday 10th June 2024 the date I will never forget,it's my first cat I had to put to sleep

They absolutely sense bad energies, I had a cat that would howl every time someone in the house was doing things they weren't supposed to be doing. No matter whether he was in the same room or not and was literally every single time like he could read thoughts. It was crazy. Sadly he passed away this year and miss him horribly even tho he was one of the biggest ahole pets I ever had lol

Love my cats -- I have 5 of them and three of those 5 came out of the woods asking me for help. I would normally not have more than 3 tops but I cannot say no to any animal that comes to me and asks for help.

Its unbelievable at this degree we have here ,my asthma didn't attack me and my four cats got asthma ....and im okay..i am.feeding 30 cats and moreand im happy.thank God for them
