I agree to your point to not ban words as they snatch our freedom to speech. But a lot of times we need to change the way we talk or we put something in front as our speech changes a lot. Like saying "businessmen these days......." gives an idea that people who run buisness are only men, while the sentence was targeted at every person who owns a buisness. Same way there are many other examples which can help changing the total mentality of a person in terms of gender, respect, caste, class, perspective of a situation etc. I wish this point was covered too. Although I really like your videos :)

Banning words and other related ideas come out of the notion that if one person is offended or hurt by something that they heard, then the person who said those words is always wrong. They refuse to accept that sometimes, the problem is with the listener or sometimes it's nobody's fault. It's not necessary to designate a villan for each scenario. If you are personally getting hurt by something, you can politely ask others to stop saying that and they can choose to be kind to you. But this can only be done one on one and not for everyone. There is no limit to getting hurt or being insecure.

The Comfort zone part reminds me of myself about one thing about me. IDK why I am sharing this part of my life ,but this just how I got out of my comfort zone. I am a vegetarian since birth , Everyone and literally everyone in my family is a non-veg lover (I don't mean hardcore , but they love eating non-veg).Until I was a 10yo person ,I was a type like even if I see someone eating non-veg or even the smell gets in my nose I won't eat for the rest of the day . My parents even tried to give me non-veg by mixing it in my food ,But still I used to spit it out (I was like 2-3 that time). I remember if my mother prepare non-veg at home it was like a stealth operation they needed to carry out. Same thing used to happen in school I used to comeback with unfinished tiffin. As I got matured enough I started to realise that it won't be constantly the world around me who would adjust for me ,sometimes even I would also need to adjust for the world around me .I tried to finish my tiffin even when my friends brought non-veg food ,it was very difficult at the start but later on it just got easier , but the pleasure That I felt after breaking out of the comfort zone was something I can't describe in words. just last month there was my friend's birthday and he invited us to party at a chinese restaurant. As expected they ordered non-veg(for them) I was still tensed about what would happen to me , but everything went smoothly and we literally enjoyed that whole time

You have my respect for talking on this, to maintain our intellectual frames( and not wanting to offend) we tolerate a lot of shit, and every time we do that we shift the tolerance line a bit more. The two sides of ideas should have a continuous tussle to keep society(read civilizations) moving on the right path, if one side remains quiet or is silenced, we are doomed.

This is real. And the reason why people agree to this very simple. Most of the US population have immigrant background. So many gravitate towards the left, as left provides more opportunities to them. the right doesn't care for them. but the left at present is all about social issues(and not economic issues). And as long as it stays that way, and people don't talk about financial inequality, rich left side is ready to support them. to keep them happy. its vote bank politics.

Sorry to say but I feel just talking about 1-2 universities doesn’t depict the same for all universities especially the Ivies in USA. Also the GPA thing is a number as recruiters never ask for GPA but more about the skills they acquired which is reflected in their interviews. Another thing to note is that most parents in India don’t choose colleges or universities based on how much staff is leftist or rightist or centrist, but more on the quality of education and the opportunities they would get after passing out. Even most of the international students also don’t care as it has nothing to do being an international ambassador of their respective nations and most of them stay in USA for a restricted amount of time which they focus on making their careers. Just keeping the title of the video saying going to USA for studies is a bad idea on the basis of one institution making weird and random changes is not what I was expecting. I was expecting them to point out various issues in US education which many institutions give and provide a whole picture on this but that didn’t happened. No hate on aevy tv as you guys are doing a great job but try to improvise on this aspect.
