On the Goku speed calc: It has come to my attention that a potential counter-argument would be that the pod could have some form of life support system that would keep Goku alive. It's a fair criticism to bring up, though IMO it's debatable Anyway, to account for this, we can lowball and say it took around 8 months for Goku to reach earth. This is based on the fact that daizenshuu 7 states Goku landed there between June and August of age 737 (dragon balls calendar system) AND the fact that Goku was also stated to be sent off in that same age (assuming it was the beginning of the age, January, is where we get the at most 8 months). There are about 243.334 days in 8 months, divide that by 3 and we get 81.1113333333. Dividing the original 5.662349e12 by 81.1113333333 gives us about 69.8 billion × FTL for Goku's absolutely low-balled speed, or in other words still way faster than Gojo.

For Goku's high ball speed or just looking at his basic feats he does know screen. We can see Goku and Pikkon were able to cross two multi-infinite realms in about 5 minutes of them chatting on screen casually making it there in their suppressed base forms. Later on a arguably better speed feat is of Goku Dodging a quite literally AOE Auto hitting move having speed that can bend logic which would make sense given him able to be so fast he crosses dimensions as if crossing a boarder and more feats I could name but I ain't typing allat.

Goku can be highballed to a 5th dimensional being and Ultra Instinct (and thus the stats) are always on to some extent. Obviously, even .00001% of his 5th dimensional durability is still 5th dimensional durability. There is absolutely no way Gojo could even harm a low balled Goku (which is 4d, and the past statement still applies) and Ultra Instinct removes all thought, so Gojo’s domain expansion could be completely useless. Moral of the story, stop scaling new gen hax based characters against Goku unless they are proven to be atleast universal.

The thing about Dragon ball that most people seem to ignore or forget, is that with enough power you can just outright ignore other powers or hax. Examples of this being Goku and Jiren ignoring Hit's time powers by simply powering up. Or the few times that people have negated Hakai energy, which is power that can completely destroy a person's existence on all levels of that timeline. That's because their hax abilities suck. The real hax cannot be ignored, like Buu transforming Vegeto into candy. sorry I'm seeing this late: The whole transcending time statement isn't in the manga, though I don't think it really matters. It would be narratively inconsistent if it applied to their speed since time is still a major factor for characters that surpassed that level in the TOP, it would only apply to power and hax resistance. Also note, for the most part, time is a concept, so surpassing time and the concept of time are the same thing

Goku against beerus was about to destroy entire db macrocasm which consists of normal universe with hell and heaven (two separate dimensions,both infinite). Destroying a macrocasm two infinities bigger than regular universe makes a character 6d (battle wiki). So Goku ks basically 6d in base form, even if he doesn't want to simply destroy earth and let vacuum destroy Gojo he can easily destroy the infinity between them

The blows that went on to shake the macrocosms were the accidental leftover when he did too much or too little and the old kai specifically says this is the effect of both of them. Goku was never faster than time, he just broke Hit's time barrier. We can clearly see that Hit has that barrier thing around when he manipulates time. All Goku did was exceed the limit of energy it can be around twice. If someone like Dio stopped time, Goku will be stopped every time for 9 seconds If Rimuru stopped time, Goku will be stopped. Any character with real domination over time(meaning time itself, no tool) Goku cannot do jack.

Considering that Dragon Ball has made it a literal thing that power beats hax if Goku was to be in any situation where he'd get trapped and stuff, he could just use his power to beat whatever trapped him unless the person is way more powerful than him. Not just that, if it would work he could just do what both Vegeta and Gotenks did. That being either screaming to get out of a entirely different dimension or just be vegeta and power up so much that it ruptures whatever domain he's in and it collapses it and he's now broken free from it. (Vegeta broke the room of spirit of time via powering up to SSB and thats a different dimension. Also Goku is stronger than Vegeta so this would work.)

The problem with Gojo's infinity is that it selects automatically what gets through ( like Oxygen for example which is needed ) and what doesn't. The way his barrier selects what gets through and what doesn't is following these categories: - Speed - Mass - Shape - Levels of threat depending on amount of cursed energy used. The current limit for Gojo's infinity barrier at which it can detect opponents and stop them in their track in relativistic+ ( high balled). This means any character that is FTL can speedblitz Gojo since his barrier can't detect them in time and stop them in their paths. Before anyone says : " But Gojo is constantly surrounded by infinite distance" . This would be contracting Gojo's explanation which says that his infinity selects where to apply itself when needed. This will also create a problem as if he had infinite distance between him and everything all the time , this would lead to his asphyxiation. This means ( as his explanation tell us ) that some things don't get filtered whereas other things ( like attacks and massive objects for example coming at Gojo ) do get filtered. Also saying there's no limit to the detection speed of his infinity would be a NLF statement. Plus his infinity has presented problems and limits in the past. All and all great video ofc and good work on the debate but I just wanted to add some extra info to his infinity that some people forget about.

There's no proof that the barrier can ve both passive and active whenever Gojo wants. But even then , whether it's Gojo or his barrier , they still have to let things like oxygen through, so the selective method is still applied. Meaning filtering things in terms of speed, mass etc... All and all Until Gojo's shows he can , the prood and his explanation of infinity points to no for the moment

Infinity is always on, Goku cannot ignore it by teleporting close to Gojo. There is always distance in space, even on an atomic level and Goku cannot teleport to the point of removing that distance at such a small level. Goku also cannot teleport inside people.

I assumed Goku had an attack that wasn't a projectile but rather that he could summon in a particular location (like teleporting an attack into Gojo), but I now know he can't. So yeah I don't think Goku can't hurt Gojo. But my point in the comment was that as long as you have a remote attack that can just manifest within gojo's body it passes infinity since it never was travelling towards Gojo in the first place, it just materialized within him. Someone like Yami from Black Clover could do this. Or the same thing was done to kill Espada 2 in Bleach.

Powerscaling is really irrelevant because when these storys are written, they are not written for the feat itself, but for the narrative. This is why Goku's actual feats of durability, speed, and strength almost never line up with the calculations power scalers. Also, these terms thrown around like 4th and 5th dimensional is actually extremely irrelevant. When you study up on what higher dimensions even are, it's actually a non point because what dimension you sit on simply affects your perspective of how things look and interact. I would argue that feats actually matter in Western media as the writers oftentimes try and quantify feats by explaining the science behind it. They also tend to try and keep a level of consistency moving forward. In terms of a series like dragonball. When you guys calculate said feats shown, the numbers are good. However, the writers, animators, and authors rarely take the numbers into consideration and do things that wouldn't support any of it. For example, god goku clashing with Beerus set the bar so high early in the series that having Frieza blow up earth and kill Vegeta in the next arc makes no narrative sense because of the level of durability a weaker Goku displayed. It was so bad that it led to the argument that Vegeta died in space because he couldn't breathe, which is also extremely silly because that means Vegeta couldn't last any more than about 3 minutes in space. Meanwhile, we saw Beerus throw a base Goku into space while trying to investigate Zamasu. Kinda leads me to believe that the battle of gods movie was the true canon. But DragonBall Super's narrative makes it hard to even tell who is stronger than who at times unless it's blatantly stated. Its almost as if the whole concept of power levels as far as we've come to understand them dont matter anymore, and the only real separation now is gods vs mortals.

People are forgetting something: they use different power sources. Goku uses Ki and Gojo uses cursed energy. Ki doesn’t work in the jjk universe and cursed energy doesn’t work in the db universe. If we put them in a neutral space how do we know that ki would even affect gojo? We do know that gojo’s infinity works on anyone though, and that ki can only overpower ki hax. So in conclusion: no one wins. Goku can’t hit gojo and gojo can’t hurt Goku. The only way Goku could win is actually by choking out gojo with instant transmission to get past infinity which might not work bc of gojo’s lack of ki and gojo could only win from using purple on goku and Goku is too fast for gojo to aim at

Even taking ki and CE out of the equation I just don’t think you understand how much strongsr and faster goku is. On top of having god bind and hakai which are attacks that don’t require physical touch

@@Hundo44 all of goku’s techniques use Ki. Besides that he’s just a semi-good martial artist that usually uses strength to win fights. Literally EVERY attack in dragon ball uses Ki, whether that be mortal Ki, god Ki, ssj Ki, GoD ki, etc

I mean, Kuririn at 14 and Roshi had a fight that was invisible to the average human in the 21st Tenkaichi tourney. Goku was stronger and faster than him at 14. Gojo is physically, without his abilities, basically a normal human, if his domain expansion which is tied to his eyes, and Goku moves faster than visible for a normal human, how can he logically win when goku is a fully grown adult infinitely faster and stronger than he was at 14?

People in the comments keep talking about the twitter tweets from Koyama, but people need to realize that Koyama himself stated it was merely his opinion. He wasn't even involved in the DBS manga nor anime and even said that he himself doesn't know if Goku is 5D to 6D, so taking Koyama's thoughts from twitter and using it for powerscaling is literally bullshit, Goku at most is 4D and maybe somewhat 5D if you want to highball, DBS at most is 4-5D by scaling while Xeno Goku/CC Goku or any other Goku stronger than DBS Goku scales higher.
