Why Gon is overrated as a Main Character!

I really like Hunter x Hunter 2011 the anime as a whole, don’t get me wrong! But if I had to put some good or great main characters on a list, Gon would just never make it imo. But to each his own of-course. Let me know what you guys think of Gon as a main character, and would he make your top 10 favorite Main Character list?
