I stopped watching because it was getting repetitive also I found it dumb Beth wasn't taken down by Rio after she shot him.

I respect your take, but I disagree. The women didn't feel invincible, they suffered throughout the seasons and escaped danger due to their smartness and sacrifice. And Beth had the best character arc, from cheated housewives, underestimated by everyone to running her own business in the end. Rio never promised her any security and she had to do what she had to do in order to survive
