I agree with everything except the diss about latin and Greek. That ought to be necessary for university education, and the current revival of classical education makes latin part of the curriculum; considering that it is the root language of the West, it's hard to argue from a great book's viewpoint how those languages aren't necessary. Not everyone needs fluency or mastery, but it is essential to be taught.
