Not even just green but earth-tones are having a wave right now and I’m not mad at it. It’s easy to wear and easy on the eyes and most people look good in these colors. It gives a militaristic vibe to outfits and imo it’s timeless

Trending colors in fashion has always been a weird phenomenon that I've notice through the years, even when I wasn't into fashion. You ever notice how some days you go out into the world and everybody seems to just be wearing the same color? Like a really specific shade of blue or red, green, even purple? I keep trying to tell people about it and no one seems to have seen this but me. They look at me like I'm nuts, but it happens pretty much EVERYWHERE I go.

Bottega green was very popular in the mid aughts (maybe I wore it during the dying breaths of original Y2K style). I wore kelly green patent leather pumps to my high school graduation, for example. Now I wish I still had those shoes… Saturated colors were especially popular amongst scene kids of the time. Everything that goes around, comes around.

@@BraveNewWear for sure, I really love the editing and your sense of humor so much, I just feel like a lot of people watch fashion videos, especially longer ones as a kind of relaxation thing and really good audio is a big part of that. Like a Ken Ijima vlog I'll literally put on in the background as I fold laundry sometimes. Not trying to roast anyones visuals or downplay KZbin videos as a full product, audio is just super important. I check my own stuff during the final passes by just listening to it, going into Audition and removing clipping, seeing if it hits even without seeing it, that sort of thing. Hope this helps, big fan and excited you're back.

BV green ended its run as an "it" color in 2021...It's really all about that tangerine 🍊now... it would be interesting to see a video that analyzed "It" colors of the past and the state of the world in those years. I feel more and more brands have been successful in sort of pseudo patenting uncommon silhouettes and colours. In ye olde days people would advertise a designer brand on the streets, and if you weren't rocking a logo, only the people "in the know" would be impressed. Nowadays you can easily tag the brands on your fit pic, and in return people will start to associate certain distinctive design choices with certain brands and voila; you can look good while displaying your status. Also I can't believe you would post your feet for free in this economy.
