New subscriber here! 👋🏽Really enjoying your content. The vibe of Guanajuato reminds me a lot of San Miguel de Allende…about 90 mins away! Don’t know if you have been there or are planning to visit there…it is a must!! Truly a beautiful & charming city with an amazing food and art scene! More foreigners & American Expats though as it has been on so many” most beautiful cities “lists. We went to San Miguel a few years ago and it stole our hearts! May have to spend some time in Guanajuato next time! ❤

Hi Ingrid! Welcome 🤗 - We want to visit San Miguel so badly because so many people have recommended it. We've heard great things! Hopefully next time ❤️ And do please check Guanajuato next time you have a chance. It's a very special place.

San Miguel is an inauthentic, overpriced gringo magnet. GUANAJUATO is the real deal.

Hola friends✌🏻 another superb video. Guanajuato looks amazing. I’m considering it for a long term stay next winter. My question for you is: did you find any issues with the air quality? I’ve read some articles talking about it. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to your videos and loyal subscribers. Safe travels, be well✌🏻🤙🏻

Hi. We stayed in this airbnb and we loved it: www.airbnb.com/rooms/600785721466867463?guests=1&adults=1&s=67&unique_share_id=75dbf14f-a88e-4dbf-814f-c60a9420c6db - we recommend staying in the center area but not super close to Jardin de la Union since it can get pretty loud on the weekends ;)

Weird question I’m assuming the tunnels aren’t the best place to be if and earthquake happened (guessing it’s too old to be earthquake proofs)? How earthquake prone is the area?
@alfredoibarra4592Ай бұрын
There are no earthquakes in Guanajuato, in fact all of the state of Guanajuato is not in an earthquake prone area. So you do not have to worry about tremors while in Guanajuato.

The Pipila was at the beginning of the fight for independence that was in 1810. The Revolution was a century later.
@waysoftheworld_8 ай бұрын
Yep, you're right. I did mean the fight for independence... I guess I used the terms 'revolution' and 'revolutionaries' bc in the US the revolutionary war was the war for independence.
@KRAPOTKIN7918 ай бұрын
@@waysoftheworld_ Well, the fact is that in Mexico there was a war of independence and a revolution, which by the way was the first of the 20th century.
