The reason I pay $ for your lessons, is in your delivery. I appreciate your explanations. You have brought me a long way on understanding this instrument and theory. Don't listen to those people....AND please don't change how you teach. I'd say those complaining would never open their wallets for a lesson anyway. Keep up the good work. Thank you, Brian!

I completely agree, your explanations have been very helpful to me, and small insights into your musical journey from time to time don’t do any harm either. Building up a channel is a bit like building up a community of viewers, I reckon more people like this ‘rambling’ than those who don’t like it, it encourages viewer involvement, so I say carry on and thanks for the good work.

I really cannot imagine why anyone would think that you ramble on too much, Brian. Do not get disheartened by those bigots as you are such an excellent teacher. Keep up the good work. I have benefited from your free lessons for a while now. When I consider all the time and effort you put into producing these lessons, not to mention the cost of the equipment. I think we should all seriously consider subscribing to your channel, if we can afford it.

Brian, as a paid active melody member for over a year now, please don't change the way you teach, which requires "talking" the way you do. Your ability to provide real, usable, knowledge to the intermediate player that actually does want to know the theory behind the music, is the reason why yours is the only online guitar instruction I do pay $$ for. Let everyone else target the lowest common denominator. There is a need for that, but it is sufficiently provided for. Instructors like you are needed for players who are beyond the beginner phase. Thank you!

DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING about your lesson presentations. Anytime you're talking you're adding a very comforting human element to the presentation and, whether people realize it or not, you're adding additional information in one segment that might not have been clearly or fully explained in a previous segment. Your friendly, laid back personality is one of the big reasons (aside from the valuable information) I continue to follow you here on youtube.

I been following you for years Brian I like the talk at the beginning honestly you put lots of effort to making these lessons clear and concise for everyone, it's good to discuss the lesson at the start, as a viewer you get a lay of land helps you further in the lesson, but there is always that few that will gripe bitch and moan nothing will be perfect for them , you keep me and others playing , and trying to be creative, keep what you have been doing for years Brian don't break something if it ain't broken they say, cheers !!

Nobody else takes the time to break this stuff down as comprehensively as Brian does for intermediate guitar players. This is why, after a few years on taking online lessons, Active Melody is my go to blues guitar lesson website. I think that maybe the people that thinks he talks to much are a little more advanced, and want to "cut to the chase" so to speak.
