It's not only terrible, it's absolutely wrong. You can't account for what someone else finds as a vulnerability. To you it may look fine and secure, to a hacker it can look as something to exploit. It's warfare really and one has to predict how the other attacks, while the one who attacks analyzes the defenses and breaks through with means the other may not know about. Hacking into a software is more like breaking into a house using force, since if you want to protect your house, you would need to account for all possible ways of entering.
