It says pattern instead of examples on other sites. A pattern is like praying every day doing ramadan every year. Examples can be that but it can also be something he handled on his own and not based of the Quran. Because he gave the Quran to us and how to pray etc. So no sorry this doesn't proof anything yet.

@@berimbolo010 Explain how to perform Hajj using the Quran. Hint, you can't. You need the Messenger pbuh for that. How do women know what they can and can't do in terms of worship when they are on their monthly cycle? That's not in the Quran. The women of Ansar and the wives of the Prophet pbuh asked him those questions and he told them. You have a misunderstanding of what hadith is. We aren't saying its infallible, actually by showing that hadith has categories of authentic, weak and even fabricated, is proof that hadith has been vigorously tested and authenticated by the narrators ie the companions and the wives of the Prophet pbuh. We're saying if you completely disregard hadith you would come up with your own interpretations and you would not be living Islam as the Prophet pbuh lived it and he was the best of Muslims, the best of us all. Why would you take the example of the best Muslim and throw it away and assume that your interpretation, your way of practicing Islam is better? When the Quran clearly states the importance of the Messenger pbuh and that we should obey him and follow him then I really don't see why you're completely disregarding his whole life, sunnah, sayings and actions. We respect him, we ask Allah to shower His blessings on Him but we only do what Allah does Himself and we do not exceed it. We always refer to the Messenger pbuh as the slave and servant of Allah, we know his position and we do not give him a status that belongs to Allah alone. By not giving him the status Allah has given him in the Quran you are actually refusing to obey Allah. All the prophets were given a high status by Allah and are to be respected and obeyed by their people. They are special people. They are definitely above us and better than us. This doesn't mean we are worshipping them. It's a shame that many Muslims who reject the Messenger pbuh do not think about this and have completely misunderstood the Messenger pbuh and his importance.

Understandable. But also dangerous. One of the problems with Christianity is people drawing their own conclusions with little evidence or knowledge. If you truly want to understand the Qur'an, you have to put the work in, for example, learning Arabic. If you don't have the time for this, then you have to rely on the works of the scholars, because relying on translations will not do the Qur'an justice - Arabic is too rich and comprehensive (for example, the ـك when Allah is swearing by himself as Nouman Ali explains). Whatever path you choose, insha'Allah, you'll be led to the Sunnah and the works of the great scholars that have come before. "I ask God to give me wisdom and a lot of faith to understand the truth and accept it" Yes ameen!

I understood the words. It was all clearly described in the text. But when I stood in front of the motorcycle, I didn't know what to do. It was not the same. A worker had to train me. And only when I was trained by another worker, I really understood what I read in the book before. When you get your driver's license, there's theory and practice. Just because you can do theory perfectly doesn't mean you can drive the car.

If we stood behind different imams in prayers and during surah Fatiha one imam pronounced it "Malik" yawmi’d-din and the other pronounced it "Melik" yawmi’d-din is who said it correctly? The answer is both are correct. This is what nouman ali khan meant by if you question hadith. If you said one of them is wrong then this person does not know quran and you just claimed the word of Allah is wrong and this makes you not a muslim. Both Imams are correct because the prophet s.a.w said “Verily this Quran has been revealed in seven styles so recite it in a way that is easy for you from out of these.” Bukhari and muslim as stated in Mishkat vol.1, pg.414, hadith no.2211. This is why Quran and hadith cannot be separated "Malik" means king and "Melik" means owner. The prophet s.a.w lived the Quran he described as a walking Quran and without hadith, we would not know how to recite the Quran.

Don't worry Bobby, understanding the relationship between the Quran and Sunnah is actually quite simple. The Quran gives us the general guidance and principles, while the Sunnah provides us with the specific details on how to apply these principles in our daily lives. This is important because without the Sunnah, we would not have the specific instructions on how to perform important acts of worship such as prayer and fasting. Per example, Allah tell us to pray , but is not in the Coran how to do it. So, when we read the Quran, we should also seek guidance from the Sunnah to better understand how to apply its teachings in our lives. By doing this, we can achieve a deeper understanding of Islam and its teachings.

Walking Qur'an !😕 Do you even understand what you are saying? Did our beloved Rasool (SAWS) ever interpreted Qur"an? He(SAWS) never did that because it was not required by Him (SAWS). It was not allowed to interpret , his (SAWS) role was just to deliver the message as it is. And Qur'an speaks by itself and one has to read pause and toil over the scripture to unravel the nuggets and true wisdom concealed there in every single word. Learn ... learn Abrahmic locution (Millat Ibrahim) to truly understand Qur'an. If you walk behind such Mullas and sheiks and Imaaams blindly with a herd mentality you would definitely mislead. And that is what happened to Islam since 1400 years (The dark age ) of Islam.

@@Fm-fz8dp I believe in Qur'an, and that is what our beloved (SAWS) brought for us muslims, yes He (SAWS) taught many things as a Nabi and remember (SAWS) was a last Nabi for bani Israel and a last messenger for muslims and all humankind. Brother who proclaimed them as scholar? They even does not know the real interpretation of Qur'an and by the way which scholars are you referring to? is it Sunni, Shi'a, Maliki, Hammbali or Sufi? All of them have their own scholars and they all differ from each other and yet they all claim they are right !!! Dear Bobby, According to Christianity, Judaism and Islam, when God created Adam, he told the angles to prostrate before his creation. Then he commanded all the prophets to prostrate before the Kaaba. Then he commanded all believing people to love the prophets more than anything else in the world, be it their children, their wife or their parents. Loving the Prophet and expressing it in the most beautiful way is not worship. Worship means to believe that someone else has the power to help, cure or affect the world and submitting to this entity. For example, all scholars of Islam agree that taking medicine and believing that it cures in itself and not by Allah is disbelief (kufr). Doing Worship for someone else is also kufr. Then it becomes worship of that thing and not of Allah ta ala. However, it does not mean that one must not do anything to make one's parents or children happy - nor does it mean that doing something for the Prophet out of love, for example, is kufr. Moreover, scholars of Islam anonymously agree that all prophets are alive in their graves. The Quran states that they the martyrs are alive but we don’t perceive. What for would Allah ta ala keep the prophets alive if they weren’t important for us anymore or the message? Furthermore, the Quran says „If you love Allah, then follow me (my servant Muhammad) and Allah will love you etc. Allah clearly tells us to follow prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. But how do we follow him, through the Sunnah (his life). The Muslim Ummah is not flawless and some of our understanding of Islam of worship is based on trust and Hadith sciences. The important thing is that the Quean has laid the foundations of the believe and showed the way to God. The prophets weren’t there to prove that God exists but to prove that there is only one God to be worshipped, the one that created everything and has knowledge about all matters and things.

THE HIKMAH (WISDOM) IS NOT BASED ON THE HADITHS The mushriks like Sunnis and Shias love to twist Qur'an verses in an attempt to justify their fabricated sects that is leading them to Hell. And I've many times come across Sunnis who refer to this verse while they claim that the kitab is the Qur'an and the hikmah is the hadiths: رَبَّنَا وَٱبْعَثْ فِيهِمْ رَسُولًا مِّنْهُمْ يَتْلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَـٰتِكَ *وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ* وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ (2:129) But in reality the kitab (book of rules) and the hikmah (wisdom (i.e. insight behind the rules) is refering to the same source (the Qur'an) since the Qur'an is both an important book that has rules which should be upheld, and a book with great wisdom. And here's an example from the Qur'an itself for proof: In the previous verses before 17:39 Allah mentions rules of wisdom, and then He says: ذَٰلِكَ مِمَّآ أَوْحَىٰٓ إِلَيْكَ رَبُّكَ مِنَ ٱلْحِكْمَةِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ مَعَ ٱللَّـهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَتُلْقَىٰ فِى جَهَنَّمَ مَلُومًا مَّدْحُورًا That is from what is revealed to thee (oh Muhammad) from thy Lord from the hikmah (wisdom). And make thou not with Allah another deity lest thou be cast into Jahannam, blameworthy and banished. (17:39) So, as you should see, the hikmah (wisdom) that the messenger would teach people according to the Qur'an 2:129, that is refering to wisdom which we may access from the Qur'an itself which contains wisdom from Allah.

Following any hadith other than the Qur'an is forbidden: And in anything over which you disagree - *its ruling is [to be referred] to Allah.* [Say], "That is Allah , my Lord; upon Him I have relied, and to Him I turn back." 42:10 "One day We shall raise from all Peoples a witness against them, from amongst themselves: and We shall bring thee as a witness against these (thy people): and We have sent down to thee the *Book explaining all things* , a Guide, a Mercy, and Glad Tidings to Muslims." 16:89 "O People of the Scripture, there has come to you Our Messenger making clear to you much of what you used to conceal of the Scripture and overlooking much. There has come to you from Allah *a light and a clear Book* ." 5:15 "Alif, Lam, Ra. These are the verses of the *Book and a clear Qur'an* ." 15:1 "Shall I seek other than Allah for judge, when He it is Who hath *revealed unto you (this) Scripture, fully explained* ? Those unto whom We gave the Scripture (aforetime) know that it is revealed from thy Lord in truth. So be not thou (O Muhammad) of the waverers." 6:114 " *A Book whose verses have been detailed* , an Arabic Qur'an for a people who know," 41:3 " *Thus do We explain the signs in detail* ; and perchance they may turn (unto Us)." 7:174 "And when We read it, follow thou the reading;" 75:18 "Nay more, *it is for Us to explain it (and make it clear)* : 75:19 "For We had certainly sent unto them a Book, based on knowledge, *which We explained in detail* ,- a guide and a mercy to all who believe." 7:52 "And they do not come to you with an argument except that *We bring you the truth and the best explanation* ." 25:33 " *Allah has sent down the best hadith* : a consistent Book wherein is reiteration. The skins shiver therefrom of those who fear their Lord; then their skins and their hearts relax at the remembrance of Allah. That is the guidance of Allah by which He guides whom He wills. And one whom Allah leaves astray - for him there is no guide." 39:23 "These are the verses of Allah which We recite to you in truth. *Then in what hadith after Allah and His verses will they believe?* " 45:6 "Then in what *hadith* after the Qur'an will they believe?" 77:50 So obey Allah, and obey His Messenger: but if ye turn back, *the duty of Our Messenger is but to proclaim (the Message) clearly and openly* . 64:12 "Say, "Obey Allah and obey the Messenger; but if you turn away - then upon him is only that [duty] with which he has been charged, and upon you is that with which you have been charged. And if you obey him, you will be [rightly] guided. *And there is not upon the Messenger except the [responsibility for] clear notification* ." 24:54 *The most merciful* 55:1 "It is *He* Who has taught the Qur'an." 55:2 " *The guiding of them is not thy duty* (O Muhammad), but Allah guideth whom He will. And whatsoever good thing ye spend, it is for yourselves, when ye spend not save in search of Allah's Countenance; and whatsoever good thing ye spend, it will be repaid to you in full, and ye will not be wronged." 2:272 "And We have certainly diversified in this Qur'an for the people from *every [kind of] example* ; *but man has ever been, most of anything, [prone to] dispute.* " 18:54 "Say, " Allah is most knowing of how long they remained. He has [knowledge of] the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth. How Seeing is He and how Hearing! They have not besides Him any protector, and *He shares not His legislation with anyone.* "" 18:26 “You worship not besides Him except [mere] names you have named them, you and your fathers, for which Allah has sent down no authority. *Legislation is not but for Allah.* He has commanded that you worship not except Him. That is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know.” 18:40

This is about the Quran itself! If you say the Quran is inseparable or even comparable to anything else, that's condescending to the Quran, not raising to the other. And Please note that Allah blamed the prophet pbuh twice in the Quran. The submission is to accept the judgment of the prophet in the matters they fought/argued about because he is the prophet and messenger of Allah. Of course, the hadith (the Mutawatir) is essential for religion. But the dilemma here is due to having hadiths that are in complete contradiction to the Quran and sometimes seem "heresy" and "blasphemy"! And before you call me names, here are some unacceptable examples: 1- Hadith that says there was a verse allowing "Breastfeeding Adult Strangers" for the woman to remove her hijab in front of those strangers! 2- Hadith about a verse that was eaten by a goat and didn't make it to the "written Quran"! (The stoning verse), even though the Quran was memorized and recited! 3- Abrogation of a Quran verse with a hadith! the whole Abrogation/cancellation of the verses of the Quran is a complicated and controversial subject, but, the prophet would never abrogate/cancel the judgment of Allah and implement his own! 4- The "satanic verses" hadith, in which the prophet confused Satan with Jebril and told the people to worship Ellat and Elozza idols thinking it was a revelation from Allah, but Allah sent Jebril to correct him! 5- All the hadiths about the prophet's sexual interactions (arguably all were told by a single individual) don't adhere to the prophet's nature! Would the prophet share his private life with his wives with anyone? Was that person there with him (May Allah forgive me)??? Of course not, yet many hadiths of this nature exist in the sahih. - The main point is, of course, we wouldn't be able to properly implement the Quran in our lives and worship Allah in the right way without the Mutawatir hadith. The Mutawatir hadiths are the teachings of the prophet to all Muslims, not to one or two persons. The goal is to please Allah and hopefully earn his mercy and forgiveness. May Allah have mercy and forgive us all.

Simple way to put it, the Quran is the word of Allah and hadith is based around the life of prophet (saw) and also his companions where we learn how prophet (saw) lived his life and we do our best to replicate as much as we can, as he lived his life perfectly with no error in accordance to the Quran. We are told to pray in the Quran, with hadith we are taught through prophet Muhammad (saw) on how our prayers should be prayed. That’s just one example and i hope this helps.

If you disagree about something, refer it back to Allah and the Messenger, if you believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best thing to do and gives the best result. Keep on learning Bobby. We are learning with you. These questions you have are shared by many Muslims as well. Regarding Hadith, with time and experience you may see how the process of actualising Quranic guidance in real life needs further elaboration. Now this elaboration can come from our own desires, the scholarship, culture and tradition, hadith, etc. From this need arises the multiple disciplines of jurisprudence, usuluddin and usul fiqh. You will soon see that it’s not as simple as opening the Quran and interpreting it personally. The Devil, they say, is in the details.

I'm a muslim and it's crazy how far some sheikhs have to go to make hadith part of the quran, they're willing to follow a hadith that explicitly contradicts the quran and just ignore the verse, because they've decided that hadith is like the quran. And Nouman here 8:16 is falling into, he's literally saying that God didn't say that we should follow the quran (?????)but he said that we should follow the prophet, that's a dangerous thing to say and to do. the problem here is that he's reading the verse through the lense of trying to proving hadith, which actually distorts the true meaning of the verse which just says if two people are in conflict they should seek the prophet to solve the issue BECAUSE the prophet received the word of God and he's gonna use the word of god to judge between the two. The verse has absolutely nothing to do with hadith.

I have been watching your reaction videos Boby, I like your way of stating the facts and asking the rational questions. When I was learning Islam at first that question crossed my mind too, later I am in love with reading the life stories of prophet Muhammad pbuh and my understanding of islam depends. My conclusion is no body can truly represent islam as prophet Muhammad pbuh, it doesn't matter how much great of a scholar or whoever great person is, Prophet Muhammad is the living example of the Quran. We understand and appreciate the Quran better through understanding the life stories of Prophet Muhammad because the revelation itself is very tightly related to the events of the prophets life. On top of that believing the prophets of Allah is one of the articles of the islamic faith. What does it mean believing the prophets it means following their examples and their teachings therefore Headith and Sunnah is important.

As you agree that you need a teacher Bobby, everyone needs a teacher. Prophet (PBUH) was the biggest teacher. I studied law and I see it in a similar manner. We have law books and in uni sometimes we would ditch the class and try to learn through books only and we could pass the test but not with a perfect score. Don't get me wrong all the facts and the law and theory is there in the books. However, as young minds, we would not fully grasp it. And even though studying and memorizing like crazy, sometimes I would be so lost and so off from the correct answer, I would get 0 from that question. The ones who get the highest scores would be the ones who go to the class and take notes on what a professor is saying, which he was teaching how we should understand the text, how we should apply it, and why there is such a law, why it's important. And he would answer all of our questions. Which we would have many. And professor would be a person who has a lot of knowledge and experience, he would pass that to us, and he would teach us how the understanding must be and for what reasons. That's why universities exist, especially for the professions like law and medicine. You can just read all the law books in the curriculum, and they can be well-researched and clear, however grasping the full meaning of it won't be easy without a teacher. You can't call yourself a lawyer without learning from those teachers. And as hopefully, I grow older, I'll gain the experience and knowledge and I will pass down the knowledge to my students. It would be wrong to say I didn't need all those professors to guide me in classes. If I would be lazy in one class I would be begging for the notes even though, the code and the book are there. Because the professor's words would be essential and highly valuable. I still look at those notes when I need to understand something. As I said the prophet (pbuh) was the biggest teacher, with his character, with his lifestyle, with his walking, and his smile. Everything he was the perfect example. And Muslims back then would have many questions even with the Quran, they needed a teacher, as you have. As I've had in uni with the law. Some of those questions would be easy questions, some would be deeper questions. And the prophet(pbuh) as a teacher would answer. Sometimes he would show it with the way his living, sometimes he would verbally answer it. And he was the walking Quran. He was the perfect example, he was the guide like all teachers. Muslims learned how to apply, how to interpret, how to live Quran from him. And tried to get closer to that state by replicating him. And they loved him because of the Quran, they saw the living Quran. Must be very beautiful. That's why we love him so much as we read and learn about him, his personality fascinates us, he was so kind, so compassionate, so just, so forgiving. He was like that because he was the walking example of a person who Allah wants humans to be. Reading about the Quran moves us. imagine seeing the walking human who succeeded to live it flawlessly. Must be so beautiful to see. This fascination and admiration are very different from worship. Because at the end the demonstration of the words of Allah moves you this much. That is why you love the prophet (pbuh) that much. And he shined among people because of that, his personality was the reason people were interested in the religion before they were being thought about it. Many people today, first start to read about Prophet( pbuh) and get fascinated by him and get interested in Islam. I know it was different for you as you started right away with the Quran, if I'm not mistaken. His job didn't over when the Quran was completed, he had to teach, answer and show demonstration. How are you gonna settle daily disputes and still be in the path of Quran. How are you even going to pray? Prophet (pbuh) answers and shows. Quran is complete and perfect of course. The Quran, the core of belief and Islam is never the dispute nor it's confusing, the oneness of Allah, the power of Allah, your place in this world, your aim here, His orders, etc. However, Without the prophet (pbuh), the way of living, the way of practicing, the way of interpreting would be missing. So a generation get the knowledge from him and pass it down to the next. So when we have questions we can look at how the prophet dealt with them, and how he answered them. What was his thought pattern and reasoning was? If someone raised a question about an issue with the Quran, with Islam, we can say this is what the prophet did, this is what he said, and it will and should be the end of that discussion. we follow his example, and try to be like him, it is challenging but if you follow his path, you will be living the Quran. Sorry for the long answer. Great content, you push all of us to think deeper:)

I do remain highly sceptical of the hadith, how they were produced. For me it was the fact that the hadith and what was written in there nearly pushed me away from researching Islam, that alone tells me a lot already, in the beginning i did not even know Hadith and Quran were a seperate thing, if this is what i as an outsider gets from researching the religion, that alone is already a problem. Once i started reading the Quran itself and not taking any cultural influx into the equation, i got a very different picture of what Islam means, further i found multiple verses that indicate to not follow hearsay and therelike. As someone very interested in History with a Christian background i also came to the conclusion that the Muslims made similar mistakes as the christians, especially due to Church Traditions coming from Apostle Letters written after Jesus (which is very close to the concept of Hadith), which in turn was a major point of the corruption in Christianity. These were the things, combined with the almost laughable things that some people graded "Sahih", that even go against the Quran, made me arrive at the conclusion i have now. "And on the day when We will raise up in every people a witness against them from among themselves, and bring you as a witness against these-- and We have revealed the Book to you explaining clearly everything, and a guidance and mercy and good news for those who submit."

I think that when Nouman Ali says that the people that give us the Qur'an are the same people that give us Hadith, there are actually two major differences: (1) They gave us the Qur'an in their *collective,* and ever since, it has been transmitted by the Muslims in *their collective.* The Ahadith were transmitted via *individuals* in the first 3 or 4 generations. (2) They gave us the Qur'an *verbatim* from the Prophet (pbuh), whereas most Ahadith are in the words of the narrators. As Bobby says, the Ahadith are a great source of the life of the Prophet (pbuh), but they are not a *primary source* of the religion. Also, we should not confuse Hadith with the established Sunnah like the prayers, the fasting, and Hajj. These Sunnan were transmitted like Qur'an, by *the collective,* except that they are *practical* and the Qur'an is *verbal.* This is important because both the revelation and the practical elements of our religion are completely free from the fallibility of people's understanding and interpretation.

I don't need to say more than what you said. «Did you not see those who dispute about the revelations of God, how they have deviated» The verse you mentioned "It is He who has sent down to you the book.....". For me personally, this verse is the cornerstone of the methodology in understanding the Quran. For a book like the Quran, there’s a way that you have to approach it so that you’re the least likely to deceive yourself about what you’re doing, you have to approach a traditional text in the spirit that the text fundamentally embodies, or you bend it to your own will.

@@TheBobbysPerspective listen my friend the reason you still don’t understand or trust hadeeth yet is because you don’t know or understand who the men are that passed on these narrations. These aren’t regular men if you learn the biographies of someone like Ibn umar or the sahaba or the ones who preceded them you would understand how hadeeth can be trusted also with the science that is used to preserve them. This isn’t the same concept as the Bible being preserved through unknown men today. Also my friend at this point shaitan is playing with you and tricking you on accepting Islam. You’ve done enough research and if you know there is no other god worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is his messenger it’s upon you to say the shahada. My friend tomorrow isn’t promised. You could walk out your house and get hit by a car and die without saying Shahada and at this point shaitan has won the battle against you. As a former Catholic and Colombian revert I understand where you’re coming from and I didn’t want to enter Islam yet until I was pure because I felt guilty from my sins but an Arab friend of mine stopped me one day and said to me if you took a test and got an F would you retake it if your teacher gave you a chance to get a C? I said of course ! He said well ok in this life Allah is your teacher and this life is your test. Are you just going to just fail without even trying or at least try even if that means you aren’t perfect? And right there a light bulb went off in my head and it made sense that I needed to accept Islam even if that meant I wasn’t going to be following all the rules yet because at least I would die as a Muslim and a sinning Muslim is better then being nothing my friend because every Muslim will eventually enter jannah even if they enter hellfire where as the non believers will never enter jannah

Bobby, great reaction video and I love your curious and critical mind. This leads us to question our pre existing beliefs and rediscover the truth and understand them in a better way. You said something like how can Hadith takes precedence over Quran and that is not true, the chain of command goes like this: the instructions and commandments of Allah in the Quran takes precedence over everything else that follows and then comes the Sunnah of the Prophet which is the interpretation and the implementation guide of the Quran. He basically said nothing new or anything that contradicts Quran. On the contrary, he presented himself as the living example of the teachings of the Quran. As Allah mentions in Surah Al Ahzab Verse 21: Indeed in the Messenger of Allah you have a good example to follow, for him who hopes in Allah and the Last Day, and remembers Allah much. You also mentioned somewhere in the video that the sunnah of Prophet was only for the people of that time and that is basically true about the previous prophets but not the Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him. He was sent for the generations during his time and the generations following him until the day of judgement. That’s why he was referred to as the last and final prophet. Things will become more clear to you as progress though your learning journey Insha’Allah. It is very common to have such confusions as part of learning Islam. May Allah guide us all to the straight path. Ameen

Great reaction as always Bobby. From what I can tell is that hadith enhances what has been quoted from the Quran, like in the Quran we are told to worship God, but through hadith, we know the pattern of worship by observing how the prophet did it, when he did it, what he spoke during worship and the likes. If I'm mistaken, feel free to correct me. 🙏

Respect bobby. I really pray to god that he guides you and me to the right path. I totally agree with you on your arguments and suspicions about Hadith. Islam is the one and only religion accepted from God, it has nothing to do with all the prophets from Adam to Mohammad, in fact god may forgive anything other than sharing his status with anything and anyone else, not even prophet Mohammad. I was born and raised by a Muslim Sunni family but now as i approach my 50s i question my old tradition and alhamdulellah i only Believe in god and Quran alone. Sunnah is an unreliable source of knowledge at its best, it contain lots of valuable lessons and wesdom but it is not part of the one and only true universal religion of god,ISLAM.

As you know prophet Muhammad was illiterate and after becoming the prophet Allah blessed him with knowledge and its a fact that whatever tribe , city or kingdom u have a leader who resolves your issues and as you know Islam is a very deep , It answers every question like how to pray ,how much zakat should be given , buying and selling goods , issues of interest . The Quran tells you to perform salah but we can only know how to perform salah correctly if we look at the hadith . Remember one thing That "Allah didn't only give us the Quran he gave us his beloved Messenger too not just a Prophet but also a Messenger".

The blind obedience to scholars or madhaabs is called Taqlid and is totally forbidden in Islam, at least according to Ahl Sunnah wal Jama'ah. Regarding hadiths, they are very much needed. For example, the Qur'an never makes the claim that it's enough, it's only enough as a miracle. Anyways, the Qur'an commands us to obey the Prophet (s.a.w) and when we fall into disagreement, to take it back to Allah (s.w.t) through His Qur'an and the Prophet (s.a.w), and how can we reach the Prophet (s.a.w) and his sayings if he is dead, that's we have these traditions preserved by the salaf. [Qur'an 4:59]: يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَطِيعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ ٱلرَّسُولَ وَأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَمْرِ مِنكُمْ ۖ فَإِن تَنَـٰزَعْتُمْ فِى شَىْءٍۢ فَرُدُّوهُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَٱلرَّسُولِ إِن كُنتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌۭ وَأَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلًا ٥٩ "O you who have believed, obey Allāh and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allāh and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allāh and the Last Day. That is the best [way] and best in result." Tafsir ibn Kathir on the verse: ((And) if you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger). "Mujahid and several others among the Salaf said that the Ayah means, "(Refer) to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger.'' This is a command from Allah that whatever areas the people dispute about, whether major or minor areas of the religion, they are required to refer to the Qur'an and Sunnah for judgment concerning these disputes."

Your not guilty brother we the ummah are as a whole we are asleep I was born a Muslim alhammadallah but I wasn’t practicing and just following what I was told to because they said so. I thought the same as you when I started practising again Quran is sufficient we don’t need anything else so I met a quaranists sheikh cause I thought I can’t go wrong with just the Quran since it’s all sufficient and it is. So when I started saying allahuakbar or Labayk allahuma Labayk the quranists started saying this is shirk I backed off right away and came back to Sunnah. I mean alahamdallah Quran led me to Sunnah of prophet I use my logic with hadiths ofc during the prophet times and how to implement it. True rightousness is not the one who turns his face to the east or west but true rightesnous is the one one who believes in Allah , the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves; [and who] establishes prayer and gives zakah; who] fulfill their promise when they promise; and [those who] are patient in poverty and hardship and during battle. Those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who are the righteous. I saw this video before it didn’t help answer my questions but brother be patient seek Allahs help in knowledge so that he may guide us to the straight path remmember brother your not gonna learn everything in one day but guess what you’ve learned more than many Muslims today and help teach Muslims more with your videos especially me your one of the reasons I expanded my knowledge and know I went and expanded it more towards hadiths as well but Quran no matter how many times I listen to it’s not enough cause I keep learning more and more from Quran something new that I didn’t know before see brother we forget it’s why we should keep opening Quran every day to remind ourselves what Allah wants from us it’s clear and we just need to implement Quran so Allah can send his blessings inshallah on the ummah

The hadith is record of how the prophet Muhammed (PBUH) lived his life. All the way down to the minute details. Although much of it is not compulsory it's the record of the example that was recorded and left for us as Muslims. We have to remember he was given the knowledge of the universe, probably the only one EVER to this degree. Much of what he taught us through this knowledge is in the hadith and that is why it is so important.

I want to start by thanking you for your effort, may God bless you. A lot of experts in Islam from arab countries talks about this subject, I am genuinely glad that you bring it up also in the western world in order to spread knowledge. I was born a Muslim but didn't really feel like a believer until last year, now I'm studying the quran with my poor arabic and it's so exciting. I strongly believe in God alone as creator which identifies me as a Muslim according to the Quran and also the meaning of the word Islam. Also I believe in Gods all prophets and messengers, note that there is a difference between them. Muhammad was both in the Quran. What I think that the prophets are the ones who received the revelation and were given the task of spreading it, messengers on the other side will remain until the day of judgment in the form of warnings and guidance. But that's my opinion. I share the same opinion that the quran is a totally complete book, if you say otherwise, you claim that God's words are untrue. Some say that Hadith is important to perform prayer and fasting correctly, but prayer (salat),washing, time for prayer as well as fasting and fasting times are already mentioned in the Quran right? maybe not as detailed as the books and videos that are available today, but maybe that's the point? the quran is there to facilitate and not make it difficult according to the quran itself😊 So between the quran which I believe is the true word of god or books written by humans at least 100 years after the death of the prophet? I hope I haven't stepped on anyone's toes, as I said I am new on my journey and only sharing my opinions 🤍Peace to all
