Hallmark movies were like a nice warm hug, you could just sink into them and feel the problems in your day to day life just melt away.

Thanks! It's been WAY too long, but I've got some ideas about how to keep the content coming. Stay tuned!

I clicked because I honestly wanted to get it. I don't like Hallmark movies. I'm not a huge RomCom fan anyway, but Hallmark movies are a big no go for me. I don't like twinkies either (and had no idea they almost went out of business), but the analogy works. And your analysis (as usual) was insightful and helpful. It explains why I will watch the same handful of movies over and over. We crave the 'feel good' of rooting for good people and "spending time" with good people. Looking forward to your exploration of how/why old movies and TV shows have held up so well over time 7:37 All the best, tg

So glad I was able to shed some light on the inexplicable appeal of Hallmark movies. I was at a loss myself as to why I tolerated these things until I really put some thought into it. Stay tuned for those old movie/TV videos. They'll take a while to produce, but I hope they'll be worth the watch. Thanks for your support!
