From some person who relapsed from 1 week - 1 month - 3 months the main issue he had with relapsing was he was giving excuses to do it. Maybe it might not even be the haram videos it might be something in your mind that you tell yourself. He told himself that if he had stomach pains he had to do it to make the pain go away and it didnt. - Your brain sometimes might find the stupidest reasons to do it. What happens is that when you have the sexual urge thats normal but then the shayateen try to whisper into your head to do the act. - Some people try to do mental gymnastics but it only gets worse when ppl do so. It's actually pretty simple especially with every other addiction just dont do it.

A friend of mine shared a video of an important Shekih arguing it's Makrooh to do the hand thing. And i get why he did it, it can get hard, especially on the summer. Alhamdulillah i'm free from it for now, but i won't lie it being cold helps a LOT. I want to marry but until i got a job... like a job, at least the minimum (Alhamdulillah) until then i don't think it's responsable, even if i could, to marry someone. After reading the Quran i realized Allah subhana wa taala literally give the only two exceptions to have any kind of relationship, which are your wife, or the ones who are on your care, which in the end both receive rights of sustenance from you, unlike a girlfriend which people often just use without giving them anything even which is crazy since the women always loses in the exchange and even then they participate in it and get no rights whatsoever from it... So basically Allah, for what i understood, wants us to be men, and to fight for it and work for it. If we do the hand thing, it will only keep us away from trying to establish what Allah ordained, which is a marriage or at least taking care of someone in extreme need. Both are way better than doing the hand thing. You have fasting also, which helps. But if you got a job idk what you are waiting for. I'm 23 and i studied in graphics and stuff, but the sector is filled with haram... anyways the halal job will eventually come in sha Allah. I know 100% that if i don't have a job, it's indeed a test from Allah, and in sha Allah i will be of the patient ones. I write this in hopes that perhaps someone benefits, idk if someone will tho xD.
