I understand the protesters want to get their voices heard. But at the same time, she is just the VP. She is not the president of the United States. I feel that was not the time and place for a protest. She is there to speak to the people and let them know the policies she will do for them. This is just like if your mother tells you not to do something and you do it anyway, and then she warns you about two more times, and you still aren't listening. What do you think is going to happen that third time she is going to get you together and demand respect. So, I believe she did the right thing so that she could get through her campaign. I feel the protesters are going to interrupt her campaign, and then they need to interrupt the orange mans campaign and see how they will get treated worse. What the protesters don't understand is if you don't vote for her and she doesn't win, they will make it way worse on themselves. So, I feel the protesters should have had a better strategy than that. They have to remember its a time and place for everything and that wasn't the time or the place.

@johnjarou2357 As I stated, there is a time a place for everything. That was not the time or the place for the protesters to do that. They are not the people she is trying to reach out to. The fact that the two organizers already talked to her and her team, but the campaign started to talk later, was the right thing to do. This has happened while Joe is president, not her. Also, the protesters are not looking for a policy but a solution. I will say it until the end of the day that was not the time or place, as well as a solution is not going to happen overnight. Which is what it sounds like the protesters want. Not the time or place.

It is unrealistic and unfair to criticize Harris' handling of people in the audience by disrupting the rally. Unlike 45, she didn't command that the sh!t be beaten out of the protestors and thrown out. She demonstrated restraint and at the same time demanded respect and consideration for her, the other voters and the event. I'm 💯 against funding genocide, no question about that. But this was not the way to have ones voice heard. It is not as simple as turning off the tap. It is a complicated and long process, witness Congress inviting Netanyahu to speak before them, which, by the way Harris did not attend. Harris has to first get elected and she can only do that with a careful strategy. Once she is in office, hold her feet to the fire. However, we can not risk losingg to the Orange Menace, Israel loving candidate. Protestors have to be strategic as well.

1. Sorry. But Kamala states the truth: It's either Kamala or Trump. I hate this situation we're in, but it is what it is. When she said, "If you want Trump, just say it." That is true, and the protesters should just say what they want: Trump or Kamala. I love Gaza, and I would love this government to change overnight, but it is impossible at this point. Unless we have a constitutional amendment that prohibits private donations for public elections, there is no way we can move the government in the direction we want in terms of Gaza. Even if we do mobilize enough voters this time, it will be for a short period of time. The money from AIPAC will soon return and entice all those selfish politicians with zero integrity back to the track that is completely in support of Izzy. 2. I'd also like to add that, if we can't even mobilize enough people and resources to help Jamal Bowman and Cori Bush win the primaries, what makes you think we can help Jill Stein win in the general election? Let's all be practical and make sure Trump, who will for sure give Gaza to Israel as soon as he returns to the White House (remember Jared Kushner said the "waterfront property [of G@z@]" could be "valuable"?) does NOT win first. Then we can work on getting the constitutional amendment (which either "strictly allows public funding for public elections" or "prohibits corporate or organizational donations for public elections") passed, which can fix the problems of AIPAC and corporate-funded and conservative-funded PACs.

We have far too many issues here in America. The money sent to other countries could be better suited to fix the main issues here. so you can't really complain about lack of bread and milk and oil. And yes the loss of life as far as genocide is concerning but if you have any common sense you realize you can't save everyone. And that's not to mention that we had a former president that was giving tax cuts to billionaires who didn't need it and the average person suffered. So yes, I agree with Cenk. Israel is wrong, Palestine needs to be protected, because why are you killing all of these civilians just to kill one or two terrorists at a time? The question you really have to ask is it really our problem? In my opinion no, netanyahu is the problem. And we are not the only ones capable of dealing with him. It's just like Ukraine and Russia, and I served with the ukrainians 20 years ago. They are more than capable of defending themselves as y'all can clearly see. Their timing sucks...plus Biden "The President " was not there. Kamala is running to be "President ". I agree lives are very important, but trying to shake Kamala's supporters away before the election is kinda self-defeating. Trump wins and it's over. They would be among the first to be gathered up and shipped off...Where?? Who would know once the trucks turn the corner. Wouldn't be the first time something like that happened.

if you support Facism abroad then don't pretend you actually care about saving democracy from Trump. If it's actually "Trump or Harris" then it's on Harris to oppose Facism. She can't do that while actively helping it grow. If she doesn't change course then it's her that's helping Trump.

I think that she handled it well. She allowed them space, acknowledged their right to speak, and then retook control of the message. I sincerely believe she will come out with what she wants to do when they have a chance to address it. It is hard to change a policy that is part of an administration where you are still serving. And I also have a feeling that one of the reasons that Mr. Bebe went all batshit crazy when he returned and started escalating his agenda is because his meeting with The VP did not go as he expected.

@@ottopilot7205 You're correct... In addition, the pro-Palestine folks are sabotaging any chance Biden has of negotiating a cease-fire. As long as Netenyahu believes Trump can win, all he has to do is stall until November and then they can do whatever they want in Gaza. Biden is focused on his legacy now. You have to believe he wants to button this up. They should learn from the Russian prisoner swap. We didn't know about that until it was done. The best chance Biden has is for Netenyahu to feel hopeless about Trump winning. The protestors are shooting themselves in the foot and they don't even know it. They need to think things through... and Cenk is doing them no favors but failing to point this out.

@Kelbor_Hal
@Kelbor_Hal 2 ай бұрын
@@Burn_Slow That, in and of itself, is not stupid. I'd question your sanity if you didn't. That is not my issue with Pro-Palestine protestors. My issue with them is several-fold. First, they claim ownership of an ideological conflict they have no understanding of. Second, the Palestinians are no less bloody-handed than the Israelis. I understand this from close friends who have fought against them. Third, their zealous faith would have these protestors killed simply for being alive, as Islam is fundamentally incompatible with Western values and LGBT identity. Fourth, and quite simply, it is not their fight. They should stand aside and see things from a more adult perspective, since most of the ones I've spoken to are firmly anti-religious and have no real understanding about how a holy war is fought. Fifth, no matter how much protesting is done, their war will never end until one side is completely destroyed. That is the nature of holy war. "I'm right, you're wrong. Therefore you must die." The protestors like to throw the word "genocide" around a lot, which calls back to my first reason, because it doesn't matter whether you support the Palestinians or the Israelis, it's genocide either way. Sure, you can make the argument that innocent people are severely affected, but you will do nothing to prevent it because you can do nothing. It will likely be a stalemate long after you and I have died of natural causes. It sucks that it has to be this way, but you won't get anywhere arguing with a religious zealot.

Should they all shout out their points as well. Divide her faction to have the power to make any decision in the future. Sitting from the sidelines anything she said would have been ridiculed. Im not for netanyahu. But to be honest it's something to handle after the election. You have to put on your own oxygen mask first. We are possibly facing slavery & genocide in America. None of them like the actions Hamas or Isreal have taken & have tried to secure cease fire & agreements for decades. Iran has one the largest drone fleets. Israel is a sovereign nation. Palestinians have Hamas leaders, who uses them as sheilds who alot of them didn't want. It's a f-up very very complexed situation that 100's of leaders have tried to solve for over 60 plus years.
