Now I just want JGR to put Ryan full time in Xfinity and have Martin run some races for them so we can get them in equal equipment racing each other. Do this at Dover and New Hampshire, their home tracks. There's plenty of reason to hate the player 2 weeks ago. But now? Absolutely not. Harrison got the job done. He deserves what he gets because that's the system they race under. As fans we have the right to discuss whether it SHOULD be the system and that's what's happening. Unfortunately for Harrison and Wood Brothers it just makes it hard to truly give the love the moment deserves when you're aware of the glaring light it shines on the credibility of the playogfs.

I still think. First 10 winners your in. Last 6 spots are for the highest pointed drivers. Or it could be 8 in 8. If you are not one of the first winners to get in and get a win. You need more points to get in the top 6 or 8 in points.

As far as the Playoffs go, there's no difference than most sports. Take the NFL as a comparison, if you win your Division as a 7 and 9, or 10 team, then you get a Wild Card spot, that's what the 21 did. They grabbed a wild card spot. It is what it is!

The ackshual* problematic system here y'all daggumit is full contact racing. It's unsafe and expensive and stupid. Stages, The Chase, Green/ White/Checkers will all work better if full contact racing is adequately discouraged and officiated. NASCAR's choice is, do they install instant officiating as a race-by-race and game-by-game intrical part of the sport? Full contact racing is NASCARS identity, I get it, and it creates much of the engagement that pays the bills now, but if NASCAR chooses yes on big boy officiating, 'racing refs/umpires/officiating crews' would also make decisions that drive engagement and content. Maybe more content and engagement. I think more. The NFL, all major sports.. own their choice to aggressively and regularly officiate, its part of the game and they use this to their advantage. No reason NASCAR cannot do this too. I dare to say NASCAR drivers gain more credibility and become more highly skilled when they're scrutinized and heavily officiated and have to drive more precisely. I think this is great for the sport. Pull the damn trigger NASCAR.
@TomLehockySVK2 ай бұрын
There is NO legitimacy with a play-off system. You can win 35 races, but if in the 36.th a different driver finishes ahead of that driver, then those 35 wins meant nothing.

This video explains the obvious. Nascar isn't about real hard racing, it's about following team orders. Ross, Kyle, Bubba already had plenty of opportunities to win and get in the chase. These people complaining are childish. The 62 car had zero chance to get behind the 8 car. 62 wanted to finish as good as possible. You guys should listen to team radios, Way more radio talk to take it easy and lay low as opposed to telling the driver to run hard and don't let up. In all reality it's not hard racing.
@TonyKiv2 ай бұрын
Freddie said it perfectly at the 44 min mark. Parker is supposed to race 100% of HIS ability to get himself the best position possible. If he doesn't and backs off because of some stupid team orders then that is against the integrity of the sport. Then we became the same as F1 and their bs team orders. Great win Harrison, great job pushing him Parker. Awesome show once again!
