There are plenty of mothers that are fine with children. They might not be giving good advice for adults however. Another problem is that many men aren't good for adults or children. Quite often the men are also not stable, emotionally or intellectually smart. And can be emotionally and physically abusive. The court systems for the most part only exist to weed out the obvious abuses that are overt tortures anything else and they're a shot in the dark.

I would guess that dating was a lot less complicated thirty years ago, when this gal was in her prime. Why did she not get wed then? I was dating in the 1970's, and it was a lot more genuine back then when both parties were young, goofy, and not very experienced. Most of my friends and I met nice, young, straight-up honest girls and got married. Sometimes it didn't work for the long haul, but usually it did. I sure got lucky: still with my lovely wife after 47 years. It is too late, sadly, for this girl. I don't see any solution to this situation. How sad. --Old Guy

No, it was still messed up 30 years ago, but it wasn't this bad. I'm single now and out of the dating game, but the same women who wouldn't give me the time of day back then now send me text messages asking what I'm doing and if I'm still single. Honestly, I was naive and thought, "wow, they finally see that I'm a good guy", but after discovering that they are ALL gold diggers, all divorced, all have kids who are about to get off child support, their texts just offend the hell out of me. As I explained to one of them, "why would I want to date you with all your drama, baggage, and Inability to give me a kid at 45 when I can date someone half your age, still have to jump through the exact same hoops, and have a 22 year old with less baggage, drama, and can give me kids?" The silence was deafening.

You are right Taylor. These older ladies wondering why dating is hard, is because dating is for young women. If you are an older lady it's too late to date. Dating is for young women to find a mate for life, have children, and start a family. You older ladies have had decades to do this, and there is only a few things that could have happened with you to prevent success. You ladies may have been chasing Chad's who scratched your itch for years, but never settled down with you. If you did this ladies, you were never serious about finding a life mate, you just wanted fun. Well that comes with a price. The price is you gave up your best years for finding a life mate, and now the good guys have found someone else, or they don't want an older lady who is incapable of committing to one man now, and are too old to give him a child. So the only guys who are out there for older ladies are Chad's who are moving on to younger ladies, or non Chad's who are tired of being ignored by you, and, or, have been through a divorce, or a bad relationship, and tell themselves they don't want that to happen to them again.
