It is very clear that Man City need to be rebuilt. They have a roster with 5 guys on the wrong side of 30.... Debruyne, Walker, Gundogan, Silva, Stones and Kovacic are all 30 or older not to mention Grealish, Akanji, Ake and Ederson are all on the cusp. It is an aging team that is picking up injuries. This is a team at the end of its cycle.... Pep could leave this summer and the wheels would likely fall off after he left.... Or he can steward the rebuild through this winter and into next summer and try to get the club on a better footing before his exit..... Much like Klopp did with Liverpool. Without the one year extension the team may be well aware of the fact that it will be harder for them to sign players in January and next summer without Pep.

I’d say de bruyne,?walker, silva and gundagon are most important. They seem to have a good rotation of cbs. But for sure two premium players are needed to re KDB and walker

Guardiola is the type who would really like the challenge to get City back up from the EFL, if they were to be relegated. All that with a completely young ("cheap") players from the academy, which is what people challenged him to do all along.

It's a tough day for the athletic and other media outlets as Pep and City have killed interest in the premier league. They know the stats. The only stories that get views are on the charges. And if we are all being honest City's possession first style bores neutral viewers. No one watched their matches unless they are tuning in to see whoever they are playing against. Pep will never be seen in Fergies league for the simple fact that they won titles before him and they'll win when he's gone. City's money and structure are more important than any manager.

They’re not being relegated. You heard it here and you can come and cry when they don’t. If it was to show strength then it was a stupid time to do it. The hearing is now over and the panel have heard both sides of evidence and are going to make a decisions after weighing up each element over the next few months. How is Pep staying going to affect their decision?

It's obviously been damaged beyond repair from a competition standpoint if no charges are made. City have nothing to do with this. They are just a cheap vehicle for foreign powers to take over the sport via sportswashing. "City group" Abu Dhabi have about 100 others teams too under the umbrella. They are a cancer in the sport.

Seriously, as much as I enjoy this podcast, this is a stupid question. The answer is that if Pep had indicated that he would be leaving, it would clearly show that the MC sheikhs would shit their pants, recognizing that their corrupt game is up. So the bottom line is that they have thrown millions more in his direction just to pretend that all is normal. As soon as they are indicted (as they should be), Pep would take the first flight out of Manchester airport.
