Yes, Geoff hits you with 3! B0 in this. First one sustained 15 sec, later one held for 10 sec. Eli made the background in Unreal Engine and thrm they recorded it in a studio with gigantic LED screens, wallsize. And the AC went down so they worked all day dressed in furs in stifling heat and humidity. Dedication. Miracle of Sound who wrote this was very pleased, giving it 10 alehorns out of 10. Vikings actually had something called flyting. A ritual rapid duel of words, where people competed in insulting each other in viking rhythms and rhymes. Winner got honoured the same way as good warriors. Wish you quick success on raising more subscribers so NOT needing to see that intro many more times, lol.

There's such INTENSITY in this song and video. Geoff hits a freaking B0 THREE times, and holds it for 15 seconds the first time and 10 seconds later. 😱 Layne does his Layne's stuff and more, with some sounds that I can't even IMAGINE how he just thinks of 'em. 😳 Eli gets into his "Rock God Mode", and not only that, all the background imagery is made by him. This is not a green screen thing, it was FILMED before a HUGE LED screen with the thing that Eli made in some virtual thing I don't remember the name of. 🤩 Cesar shows his Berserker being, with his grit and acting. Loved it. ❤ And J None... Well, that rap KILLED me. The flow... The flow!... 😁 I read that Geoff commented that to record his part it took 5 hours in his studio, and that it has been BRUTAL. I have no difficulties to believe it. 🤦🏼‍♂ These guys are just IN-CRE-DI-BLE. Their passion and dedication is beyond imagination, as is their talent. I love them. 🙂 See you next time!

The background is all Eli’s CGI work. They went to a place called Vu Studio that had indescribably huge LED screen walls. Not a wall made of a lot of screens. I mean walls that were like 20x30 feet that were one really big LED screen. They played Eli’s CGI on these walls while they were in front. Both the interior and the ocean were done that way.

Just for the record, the difference in picture quality isn't really that evident on a 1080p monitor with the video playing so small. ETA: I see you haven't reacted to their cover of My Mother Told Me? This one is a sequel to it. Most of their makeup and some of their costumes are the same, and Cesar is wearing the cloak that was worn by Jose Rosario Jr. in that one.

You mentioned 5 minute Boy Bands in another video. That's a great one, really hilarious and fun. Daddy Sang Bass is also a nice Geoff feature, and we get to see all of their families at the end. Geoff's baby is ADORABLE! She's got the best dad to sing her to sleep.

Geoff has a son (William), Layne has daughters, but they are all adorable and all have amazing Dads to sing for them, Layne does a birthday song for his youngest for her birthday with the rest of the family on his channel.

VP has had J-None rap several times before, but it was in some of their lesser-known songs, like Jingle Bells and Superstition. I think this is the first time it's made it into one of their super-high-profile pieces that everyone raves on and on about. Layne had a rap bit in Moana (which is for some reason their most-watched video; I blame the recommendation algorithm), but that's different, because it's much shorter, much less hardcore (doesn't make people talk about "spitting bars"), and isn't unique to VoicePlay (it's lightly modified, but fundamentally the rap part as a whole was in the original song in the movie). Geoff has a cover of Monster Mash, but that song is older than rap as a genre, so that's really in its own category. Similar arguments apply to his speak-singing in songs like Big Bad John and Headless Horseman.
