Thank you for the label "clean" that's what I look for in a book. I want to hear a great story with dialogue and interesting characters, I like to share funny things and interesting facts with my young teen daughter. Thank you for the audio books you share. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

The clean label is also very easily understood and helpful. It never crossed my mind that "sex is dirty" because of the term used. Keep up the awesome work!!

Coincidentally I live on a boat that is berthed in a stone wall harbour built originally by French prisoners of the Napoleonic wars. Its known locally as The Ballast Pond but later renamed Torpoint Yacht Harbour. It was used originally as a place to load ballast onto working boats and is situated on the Cornish side of the River Tamar. The Tamar flows into Plymouth Sound which is where Sir Francis Drake sailed from to fight the Spanish Armada and the Pilgrim fathers set sail for America. Actually, they had one final port of call in Falmouth further down the south west coast before making their epic journey to America. This area is steeped in the type of history often featured in romantic fiction - smugglers/wild, remote country houses and a beautiful but dangerous coastline famous for the amount of ships wrecked along it. Thank you for allowing access to your books I've really enjoyed them. I find the quality of the dialogue one of the best things about them and they are very well read.

Thank you for the compliment! It's so neat to live in such a historical place. It sounds stunning.

Thank for the Clean stories. I think it is absurd that you should have to explain this. There are books that are described a steamy or hot. Do readers need a definition for that? I for one appreciate your well written stories. You an other Clean writers show that if you have a good story you don’t need to cloud it with in your face sex scenes or gory, violent scenes. I also find your history well researched, and I look forward to your next book and the Battle at Waterloo. I love this period in history. Thank so much. I’m a new but ardent fan already.

I'm kinda surprised the explanation for ads was necessary. I thought it'd be obvious that this is your job and you need (and deserve) to make a profit. It's only right. It's already very generous of you to put them up on KZbin where many can listen for free. Thank you for your hard work 🤗💚

As far as them being labeled "clean", it's literally what I use as a keyword in searching ANY novel. I notice that your books aren't "bodice busters" which are all the same and patently unfulfilling. As far as accuracy, I'm too invested in the story to bother, which would be an entirely different situation were I reading this understanding it to be a historical novel. This is a regency romance, not a wartime account with a love story woven in. (The history must be accurate in a historical novel, although some people and actions are fictional) This is the second of your novels that I'm reading and I have nothing to say that would be important to the writing, or characters.

Great explanation! I wasn't even aware that is a thing. Personally, I enjoy both clean and steamy books as long as they are well written. But it is great that those readers/ listeners who prefer clean books tcan find them more easily. I have only listened to A Yorkshire Carol so far which I really enjoyed, and am looking forward to listening to more books soon

I can´t understand why anyone would think you shold give us access to or audio books for free here, of course you need to get paid in some way for your work. And I think it´s a very low price to pay to have some ads here and there. As to the clean label, I think there is a big difference between regarding sex as dirty and not wanting to be a spectater of it, in any form. I personly see it as very personal and beautiful between two persons that are commited to each other, not something to view others do.

Whoever is offended by the term "clean" has an issue. You need to classify your work, it seems any other description has antonyms that will offend this group. Keep up the food work and ignore ..... I wish to know the type of an audio before being confronted with I do not wish to hear.

I greatly appreciate romances that I don't have to worry about having a scene like that described since occasionally my kids will come into the room while I am listening to an audiobook. I am sorry you had to feel like you had to explain or expound on that. I am SO happy to have found your channel just recently. It is exactly what I have been looking for and the ads don't bother me at all especially since this is free for me😊. I am glad you are able to profit from it😊. I have listened to a couple of your books and I am looking forward to listening to more. Keep up the good work!!!

Hi, you can get my Memorable Proposal paperbacks on the Cedar Fort website, and some of them are super cheap. (Ex A Faithful Proposal for .99 because it has the old cover). You can get my Clavering Chronicles series on Barnes & Nobles and other places online, but that's the biggest one. They're in a few local stores as well but not widespread. Thanks for buying my books!

Just one great big thankyou, I really enjoyed this book. I hope you enjoy writing them and have many requests for more. It's an answer to prayer for me to have books read to me before I go to sleep at night, that don't give me nightmares, that are interesting historically. and don't make me want to switch off my tablet in disgust. Thank you for the brilliant introduction to a genre called clean. God bless you!

I think it's important, too, for us as consumers of your talent to recognize that we should not take it for granted. Many authors have the "$ Thanks" button, and if we can give just a few dollars to the author, it helps them pay bills and shows our appreciation in a tangible way.

Thank you for sharing your talent with us. I've just discovered you and am about to listen to one of your books. As a KZbin Premium subscriber, I'd like assurance that you'll benefit from my listening to it. If not, I'll buy your books. FYI - I'm interested in listening to good stories where the characters draw me, as the reader, into their lives. I don't mind sex in books so long as it's not used for titivation at the cost of a well-written story.

What term should you use if it is not a clean romance, because some people may not like certain scenes if they are not familiar with adult romances.
