You and I might have traveled the same ground about 30 years apart. I worked with the 2/133 Bn in the 70's. A lot of those folks were sent to Viet Nam

First off , THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE. Secondly , I am a retired Marine Colonel of 33 years . I live in downtown Des Moines..Most of my active duty stuff was covert , and my records are sealed for 50 years from 2008 . I no longer hang out at the VFW or Legion bcuz of all the "fake" warriors. Next time you're in Des Moines and want to get together for an excellent prime rib , give me a call . I'd be proud to call you a brother and friend. You have no apology to make to anyone. God bless , and keep your powder dry .

Thank you for your service as well, I don't plan on going to Des Moines anytime soon again but if I head up that way I'll reach out to you. God bless you too

I completely understand. I was a military wife for many years. My husband is now a retired Marine. My oldest son just signed a 6 yr contract with the Marines. Military life isn’t easy and it’s not for everyone. Thank you for your service, to you and your wife!!!

I have the same rake and it works well but will jam in heavy hay. That is definitely the wrong bolt. I had to grind a slight angle on the nut so the arm would pass even with the correct length bolt. Congratulations on the new duty station.

Glad to see my diagnosis was right, my last rake jammed all the time but it was a tonnutti 10 wheel. You probably seen it on the hay videos this summer. This Hesston is leaps and bounds ahead of it. Thank you!

While not military given how cautious other KZbinrs are, be they veterans or serving due to what they have signed and are still bound by it is understandable even without fanatics and crazies, there is nothing to apologise for.

Hey Travis, don't sweat it. Being a former soldier myself I know that you go where you are told. Though your farm is not far from Fort Leonardwood so the assumption is that you are stationed there, but it's not the public's business. I'm sure that Chrissy and the children will be happy when you are able to pull the trigger and retire. God bless and stay safe.
