Hey is Tech sales a remote job? I’m currently an Ultrasound tech looking to switch careers to allows me to interact with people more than scanning a patient in a dark room. I want to leave healthcare so bad Would I be able to do course careers while working full time? Can I work in tech sales and work part time ultrasound until I feel comfortable to leave ? Thanks

Hey, Unless you are going to be a programmer/developer, tech companies don’t offer many part time, 2nd or 3rd shift jobs. It's a standard 9 - 5 remote schedule.

@@techisthenewblack thank you. And that’s fine. I can always work part- time ultrasound weekends . So I can get the hang of it. I am scared to start. Sales is scary but I’m such a talkative person and I can easily relate to many people of different cultures .

I'm asking because My nephew is trying to pivot in his career from IT technical stuff to sales engineering and just wondering if tech sales is going through the same type of layoff issues that the IT industry and software industry is currently going through.
