Very interesting! But why didn't he mentioned that Foodbabe already had a huge following which helped to sell, just like Jessica Alba was the face of Honest?

Exactly, he had no experience or knowledge about the products they launched. Foodbabe formulated all the products and she most likely brought in all the customers in the beginning from her followers. She was a huge infulencers in the health & food space. I doubt he would have succeeded without her assets, knowledge of the health & food market, credibility = aka reputation she has established over a decade in the health space.

For those who are starting out from 0-1M, wouldn’t it be faster going the traditional route others are taking? Just to be able to make some money to afford being able to go this other route? It took him over 30 grand and connections to influencers to kick start his brand, as someone that can only start with a tenth of that, would it be best to start with amazon (fba) or my own shopify brand?
