@haleffect90117 жыл бұрын
What I did is this: Went to school, finished it. You will never find a better place to test out character, experiment with a bit of leadership, analyse how people react. Next, you get information. You're young, don't go into anything, but learn, just keep on learning, get good enough grades that it won't do you disservice. Don't be impatient. But be active, take care of yourself. Read books, learn learn learn. there is no better time to just learn than school because you're not doing anything else. You can learn about physics, biology, history. I'm not talking about the bulshit classes. I'm talking extra, read business history, how physicists reinvented entire industries, how musicians captured the minds of millions, how geography exerted it's influence on people, how the psychology of people influences their every move. One of my favorite quotes is this - attain extreme knowledge in one field, but be able to hold a conversation with anyone on every field. Imagination comes by combining knowledge from everywhere. the more you know about everything, the better person, and better entrepreneur you can be. For me, since I'm in Scotland, I don't pay for College, which means that it's not so much of a risk to me to learn and start a business while getting the uni to help me as well. But honestly, you won't find a greater density of people who want to do something than College that I know of. Either recruit from there, or go there
@laurabetts49247 жыл бұрын
Use this as your fuel to prove them wrong, prove it to yourself that you can do BEYOND what you 'thought' you could do yesterday and plan your days where you set aside as much time outside of school and homework to grow your skills, grow what your mindset enables you to accomplish and put it to the test with action. The only thing that matters is action. What I've learnt from experience is that you can love your family, but you don't have to listen to them and you don't have to live like them. Love them as people, be kind to them as people, respect them as people, but unless they have built careers they love, an income they love and a lifestyle they love - then draw the line between people you have in your life for human relationships, and people you look up to and model after for business/careers. I love my parents, but I don't look up to them for career advice, and that's totally okay. :) I hope that helps! :)
