Your videos are very informative to watch, I would counter in the context of a long only portfolio, that a hedge that pays you is very valuable, is it not?

Thank you for your support. You're right, of course - bond prices, and especially *long* term bond prices will usually go up during stock market crashes to provide the hedging benefit. But in the absence of a specific crisis, it's possible for bond prices to slide with equities as they have in the 70s. That's the worry some people have. As for me, I'll probably buy some long term bonds soon. I'm waiting for the downward trend to stabilize first.
