So many words about monetary policy, and nothing about fiscal policy, despite the fact that the US Federal government is running record “peacetime” (since Congress hasn’t declared war) deficits. THIS is why growth, employment and inflation numbers are what they are - monetary policy is increasingly little more than a distraction.
