I enjoyed the 2 episodes with u on the show. I first saw u from your early beginnings on YT but I didn't follow up with your journey much after the next few years. As u became more open and liberal, I gradually liked u less because of my own view and practice of Islam. But over the years on my own journey of improvement, I have learnt to have more compassion and be less judgemental on other less 'correct' Muslims especially culminating after watching these 2 episodes. It's heartwarming that despite how your belief system and practices are not exactly correct, that u still have Allah in your mind and heart. Goes to show how important it is to love your fellow Muslims and to make doa for everyone to be better because everyone is on their own journey. I recently started reading the translation of the Qur'an and out of love for a fellow Muslim, I hope u and Dewy can find a bit of time out of both your busy schedules to read up a few verses every day 😊

Praying 5 times a day, putting your head on the ground in the state of submission, is the most blissful state that one can ever be brothers. Start with once a day and as time goes by progress gradually.

One needs to be open-minded in order to appreciate what Hirzi is sharing here. This episode has such a deep meaning to it and it may save people who are experiencing the same from exiting life. God will accepts whoever one really are! One individual experience with God and social stigma of religious practice should be segregated.

Thanks Hirzi for sharing and being so open and vulnerable on this show. I definitely need to rewatch this especially part 2 as there are so many golden nuggets to be taken away… The wisdom that you shared is so powerful. To be able to share it safely and openly is when you have truly healed. Thanks for accepting people for who they are. May you continue to live your life on your own terms and be free…

I love watching all of dew’s contents, it’s always a good mix of raw heartfelt content and humour. The questions dew asks sometimes almost feel childlike in a good way, it’s like a curious child that asks the hard and real questions without ill-intent

Should name the podcast as just heeling.. People who have healed or are currently trying to heal. And why “heel” instead of “heal”, its because once they overcome their trauma/pain, they stand up higher and stronger than before like how you’re wearing heels. ☺️ I totally can relate with Hirzi’s “holding the ball of fire” cause I was once wanted to exit too. But Allah has always have His own way to show to us or give us “hidayah”. And some wont understand. But its okay. 💕 Stay strong Hirzi! You’re doing well.

Was the birth of your younger sister purely coincidental? Now being older, do you still believe your prayer was answered?

Medically, his parents (generally of such age) wouldn't be as fertile. He was 11 years old and has an elder brother. Go figure.

The all knowing god know all. He granted you the young sibling so that it will be one of the reason so you do not exit the world forcefully. Remember when you are about to give up. Life itself is a challenge with so many sub challenges you face throught. God just save you .

Teared up when Allah showed Hirzi the northern lights and Hirzi managed to go through something alone aboard. As a fan, I am sorry for not noticing the pain you had to go through. Thank you for staying alive and healing from it.
