Because the audience can’t see them as anything but their sitcom characters. When you’ve seen someone play the same character over 300 times, that’s pretty much how you see them.

@@constantinebrowser2747 Did Kevin Sorbo do that? In the past few years I heard him complaining about how he can't get work in Hollywood. I wouldn't be surprised if he espoused his unsolicited political feelings to the wrong crowd. Know your audience

​@@peterschairer488Yeah that's not what happened. I've met Kevin and talked with him about it. He's just a regular guy who is Christian and conservative and Hollywood doesn't like that anymore. He wasn't outspoken about it until recently. Theres a difference between not hiding and shame about your views and shoving it down people's throats. Know your audience? As if the 90s audience watching Hercules are all liberals ? Do you hear yourself talk ? Can you make it anymore obvious you're just bias ?

No. Youre allowed to talk about politics if you're liberal. It's not a coincidence all the Christian conservative stars get black listed but you have liberal stars rant about trump being the next Adolf and don't lose their jobs

@Happy93930 There's a lot for liberal or conservative actors/actresses to do - voiceover work, podcasts, theater, etc. If you can't get acting work blame yourself or your agent.

What are they talking about? Some of them are appearing in other shows or movies. There are a lot of opportunities for actors and actresses. Don't casting agents usually go through the agents to get actors/actresses work?
