Hok has more player base than ml just from china alone. Hok give away free limited co-op or epic skins every 2 week. Not to mention all the free legend and epic skins you are getting right now. Actually when you're new to Ml theres like some free heroes and skins Plus everytime u rank up in ml they give u rewards theyre either battle points, heroes, or Elite and epic skins. not to mention the Events sometimes doesnt cost diamonds. one thing people need to realize HoK already had a sneaky global release in the form of AoV. yes both are the same game but they just "globalized" the style and characters in AoV because they suspect international players won't like the Chinese style/characters. AoV did well in some regions like Thailand and vietnam but compared to ML it was nothing. i expect HoK to have the same fate as AoV, it will do better than ML in some regions but globally HoK will never surpass ML.

They can't surpass MLBB'S but in terms of competition and business perspective. HoK can easily break MLBB'S monopoly. If Tencent is serious about HoK and the care of its own playerbase it will prosper which will make Moonton or MLBB to compete with it. Fair is fair for these 2 MOBA. I actually like HoK which is my replacement from MLBB. If HoK is serious about doing business in Global, The can break MLBB'S monopoly. Here in the Philippines, MLBB'S peak playerbase was 2023 and continue to decline further but slowly because some players had enough or some grown up or some changed games. HoK is still growing. Also Honor of Kings still has plans for pending esports global and they are studying it further

HoK was released first before MLBB, but it was only exclusive in China, ML was released Globally

What are you talking about? We all know that HOK is 100% better than MLBB!! The main reason is that: MLBB is a depending only for "seasons" and "meta" heroes, they can never balance the game! Just as now, Zhask is very meta.. then the next season they'll nerf the hero and changed it to the most unpicked hero for this season and so on... While HOK is well diverse and balanced gameplay!! PERIODT!!
