Technically, such a conflict has already happened in Monsterverse lore. We were told that the ancient human civilizations that worshiped the Titans eventually tried to use them for their own gain, and as a result, the Titans rebelled and basically caused all apocalypses all at once. With this event being the primary reason for the severing of the bond between Humans and Titans. And those ancient human civilizations, their culture, their technology, along with the very knowledgeable about the Titan's very existence, were all scattered to the wind and forgotten or small bits of it that remained were relegated to myths and legends by the rest humanity. And If current day humanity continues to go down the same path, then they are doomed to suffer the same fate.

Yeah, that's the thing. It's a case of both sides tolerating each other. Humanity right now needs to coexist because there's no guarantee they can kill whatever comes up next. No guarantee Godzilla can, but it's at least hedging bets. They've already proven the effectiveness of a prototype Oxygen destroyer. They could kill Godzilla and probably a number of concerning titans. But alien threats are another story. What happened in King of the Monsters is probably the main reason major offensives haven't been launched. Though the Mecha Godzilla situation shows that this "peace" can be shattered at any moment. If humanity grows too strong Godzilla may strike. If the casualties keep growing then humanity may just lose all patience
@jerylbelaus8859

@@Flaris Honestly Godzilla is the one showing patience, humans have tried dropping nuclear bombs in him multiple times over the years, they have dropped the oxygen destroyer on him, they blew up his home, then tried to create a replacement for him in mecha Godzilla with the head of Ghidorah which is the titan they let loose that almost destroyed the world because they dropped the oxygen destroyer on Godzilla then try to kill Godzilla with his head like wow just wow and Godzilla still lets humanity live and still protects them no matter how often they try to act like he is invading in his world. Also humans pretty much started all of the titan problems by giving the mutos a way to absorb enough energy to hatch, awakened Ghidorah who in turn roused the other titans making them think they had a chance against Godzilla, moved Kong from skull Island to hollow earth and Kong helped skar king find a way out

Humans shouldn't keep their heads in the sand when it comes to titan event, but killing them is wrong. That could further drive humanity towards extinction. KOTM proves that to be the case. That's a nice sentiment and true. But...doesn't sound like humanity to me to go along with that. Not going to get the public at large to be totally cool with homes and lives being destroyed on a regular basis. If humanity was really casual about that sort of thing it wouldn't have gotten that far. "First come, first serve" isn't going to calm an increasingly angry public. Humanity can't do much about getting payback against a hurricane. But a giant living monster? That's another story. If humanity is good at anything it's finding ways to kill the things it wants to kill.

I mean that is kind of true if you think about it since city expansion causes deforestation, forces animals to migrate or become endangered and humans cause pollutions of all kinds. If 2014’s teaser and first trailer had you thinking this guy was gonna be a villain in a way that he is in the eyes of humanity then Godzilla is a “villain” of fulfilling his role as the God of Destruction, a force of nature that wipes out all that is evil, tainted, corrupted or disrupts the balance by destroying it so that way something new, fresh, and beautiful can take its place since Original Godzilla’s characterization is that he’s suppose to be like a Shinto God of Destruction.

while the blame/fear of Godzilla is understandable, I definitely find it very frustrating/short-sighted, it's like they just blame Godzilla for everything because he's the one Titan that always walks away from the fight, so it's somehow easier to blame the living monster, rather than the much worse one/s he managed to kill (Kong certainly doesn't seem to get anywhere near the same amount of judgment, just because he's more outwardly emotive/humanlike I suppose, still unfair I think). Do these people not care to notice that the only reason Godzilla usually ends up destroying cities is because another Titan was smashing up buildings first? Hawaii and San Francisco? Chasing the MUTO's who got there first and threatening to spawn hundreds more of themselves, devastating the entire planet in the process (even the Golden Gate Bridge incident I blame more on the ships that wouldn't stop firing on Godzilla, even though the positioning of their shots meant they basically pushed him into/through the bridge anyway). Boston? To end Ghidorah before he had all other Titans on the surface destroy all life on the planet. Florida? APEX provoked him, and he only destroyed the one facility he heard the ghost of Ghidorah inside of (fairly tame devastation compared to his prior track record). Hong Kong? APEX was the one that chose to secretly build Mechagodzilla in such a densely populated area, let alone the fact they used the DNA of a living extinction event to program a giant robot that could very well have been turned on humanity after the Titans. Rome? Scylla was already there after levelling several other locations in a bid to grow powerful enough to challenge for Godzilla's crown, and do you really want a Destroyer class Titan in charge instead? Even the reclusiveness of fellow Destroyer, Tiamat, in the Arctic radiation stockpile could have been her secretly powering up to try and overthrow Godzilla at a later date, so in a way, Godzilla may have nipped that potential future problem in the bud. Egypt? Kong (for good reason) deliberately lured him there with a provoking call (and considering Godzilla's history with the Great Apes, as well as Kong specifically, not to mention being forewarned of Skar King's imminent return, can we really fully blame him for going straight to the attack?). Rio De Janeiro? That location was purely accidental, and besides, would humanity have rather he just let Skar King force Shimo to freeze the city and start the next Ice Age unopposed? Is Godzilla's track record perfect? No. Is he worse than massive parasites, extra-terrestrial Dragons, building-sized war machines, Destroyer Titans that don't care about life/nature, or warmongering Ape armies? Definitely not! And after the revelations of KotM, that the radiation the Titans produce help restore destroyed parts of the planet, and reverse ecological disasters, what does humanity think will happen to the world if they actually do get rid of all the Titans, or do they just not care to think that far ahead?

Here’s a potential route that Adam Wingard or any future director could take the current situation of the monsterverse. 1.) Godzilla x Kong 3. This movie would be a story of Godzilla going going on a journey of humbling as he learns to be a better ruler and regain his benevolent nature towards other titans and humanity rather than having so much bitterness and rage like we’ve seen in GvK and GXK. In order for this to be accomplished he finally meets Zo Zla Halawah/SpaceGodzilla. This represents a version of him that has not only become full of bitterness, rage and vengeance, but also represents a version of him that did not stop taking the power he got from the sun and then lost his mind due to it. In this story Godzilla would encounter other titans and humans encountering situations where his mercy could be tested. For example, perhaps he encounters the last Muto: Barb, and finds that she has given birth to offspring. Godzilla naturally after 2014 is enraged by this and vows to kill Barb and her young, but surprisingly to Godzilla, the Muto decided to surrender strait away knowing that this is a fight that is both unnecessary and one that she can not win. She begs him to spare her young at the very least inspite of his motivations. However Godzilla responds will show what kind of ruler he truely is before he developes into a better one by the end of the story. This story would have Godzilla Junior in it and Junior would serve as a way for Godzilla to let go of his bitterness and rage and become a better ruler. However this story would have a bittersweet ending with Humanity ending up declaring war on the titans and looking to invade the hollow earth. In order to do this over the course of the monsterverse and the story, a certain corporation or government or a collection of them has been experimenting with genetically modified Titans. And due to them finding success in the movie, they then create Biollante as a bio weapon to kill Godzilla and the others titans. 2.) A Godzilla solo movie. This version of biollante and it being used as a military weapon to hunt and kill Godzilla goes haywire as Biollante gains a mind of its own. However it still wants to kill Godzilla. This film would have a a message about the danger of messing with genetical biology and playing god. By the end of the film with Godzillas understanding and mercy he only defeats Biollante, but doesn’t kill her. She in the intelligence she developed over the film would recognize this and look to find peace by retreating into the stars or into the hollow earth. However the Government would take the research from creating Biollante and would use it to experiment on crustaceans for the next few years, which would eventually lead to them creating destroyah as their most successful bio-weapon. Which would eventually lead to the end of the monsterverse or Godzilla as a character with his possible death.

I think if all the Governments all over the world goes to war against Godzilla, Kong, and the other Titans, it could possibly lead to an extinction level event, caused by the Government for being stubborn and reckless with their actions. But if this war happens, I can also see DESTROYAH appearing out of nowhere and killing one of the other Titans (just for the fun of it), the Humans see this and try to destroy it but realizing that it doesn't faze it at all and DESTROYAH starts to head in the description of other Titans to kill them too. This is my idea for a Monsterverse movie and a good way to enteroduce DESTROYAH into the Monsterverse.

I imagine in the future of the monsterverse we'll have 2 factions of humanity, the ones that wanna destroy the kaiju and then invade the hollow earth and the ones who wanna keep peace with the titans and defend the hollow earth. Imagine this as world war 3, a swat fleet of human troops invade the hollow earth(Maybe throw in Moguera for a support weapon or the Gotengo maybe) and then waiting for them is not just a pissed off godzilla but also another fleet of humans, this one a conjoined force of both Iwi tech and modern tech, it's not just a fight with Godzilla killing humans again its about the humans that want to maintain this righteous new world teaming up with the ancient king of the monsters reminiscing about when humans once lived in harmony with Godzilla and the other titans. This could be an awesome movie, not only allowing us to see an Invasion into the hollow earth but also an actual World War Monster. man AND nature vs man.

The Titans aren't united. Most of the Hollow Earth Titans are just oversized wild animals. Their population can be controlled. We need to first deal with the most intelligent ones - the apes. I think a surprise nuclear attack in their domain would be more than enough to wipe them all out. We will need to watch out for Shimo, though. After that, we will continue to kill the remaining intelligent Titans like Rodan, Methuselah, MUTOS, etc. with our conventional weapons or oxygen destroyers because most of those titans feed on radiation, so a nuclear attack would be useless. Finally, we will slay Godzilla with multiple oxygen destroyers. One was enough to deeply weaken him, and a few more would mark his end.

@@BigBrotherTheWatcher1984 Rodan isn't trying to do that to Godzilla fr, he would only turn if he thought the odds of winning were good, because he knows it's certain death if Godzilla survives, you don't get to defy him twice. All of them followed Godzilla's orders to hibernate, until Ghidorah issued his call in KoTM. The worry about nuking them is any that survive will feed on that radiation and rapidly evolve and become an even bigger problem. As we've seen with most Kaiju so far, if it doesn't kill them the first time, it sure as hell won't work the second time, as I believe the Oxygen destroyer will no longer work on Godzilla, he's gone through 2 evolutions since that incident. An attack like you described would need to happen with such precise co-ordination as Godzilla would immediately start wiping us out the moment he felt the Apes get wiped out, let alone humanity hunting Titans.

Humanity is unfortunately greedy by nature to leave the titans or the Hollow Earth. Most of the titans lived way before mankind and they are also big (and heavy), so naturally they would destroy everything they go to. I think it’s bad that people want to get rid off them because they destroy things since some of the damage is caused by mankind. I do understand that they get angry since it costs a lot of money but it’s not like they owned a country either. Poor titans, their life must be difficult with a lot of mixed emotions.

I think humanity could probably get advanced enough to kill the titans if enough united and they weren't cut off early, all of humanity is basically it's own titan. The best situations would be eventually cohabitation and radical changes to their architecture so humans aren't so packed together during these fights imo. Maybe direct communication with benevolent titans like Mothra or Kong would help.
@Flaris
@Flaris Ай бұрын
The trick for humanity is doing it in a way that doesn't set off Godzilla too early. Saw it with the Mecha Godzilla situation. He could tell something was going on and made aggressive moves repeatedly to go after it. If they try to build something to 1v1 him it probably doesn't work. But building devastating projectiles like the oxygen destroyer might slip under the radar enough to build up a stockpile. Coexistence would be the most ideal route. Though it's tough since plenty of unsavory Titans aren't interested in that. I do agree that communication would be so darn helpful. Because there's little ways for both sides to get their point across (beyond the physical) it leads to increased tensions. So few Titans that can be honestly communicated with. Really makes it awkward that Godzilla won't tolerate Kong leaving Hollow Earth. He's really the easiest Titan for humanity to get along with and talk to. Mothra isn't bad but it's...not quite the same.

I think mecha Godzilla was step one of this war. Step 2 will be the Jet Jaguar Mech. Humanity will make mechs to prepare for titan attacks, and a corrupt government will go after the titans in a sort of “kill all monsters” situation or more accurately “Titan Genocide.” These new mechs, which was helped by the creation of Kong’s new arm, and then humanity will turn on the titans. Most likely a group like Apex will use the fact that Godzilla retaliates if humans attack the titans, to get more funds to try to stop them. If this is the case, Godzilla may rally the other titans to prevent them all from dying, which would involve Godzilla calling on Kong to help them all. Basically, humans want more power, so they try to drill the titans for it, which Godzilla won’t stand for, so they go to hollow earth, which pisses off Kong and then that will lead to all titans teaming up.

I mean, on one hand, you kind of expect in the next movie they have to address the death toll that these Titans are causing. San Francisco, Las Vegas, Boston, Rome, Hong Kong , Pyramids, Rio De Janeiro ……. have all been wiped out with millions of deaths. Especially in this last movie. I felt like in king of the monsters they went out of their way even as unbelievable as it is for them to evacuate these cities that fast at least they showed that happening. In the last two movies, the Titans just show up with not enough warning, and everybody in the cities is pretty much at risk and half the population is taken out. But on the other hand, this is the monster verse and really after the very first Godzilla movie they seem to be leading more to having a lot of fun than getting that serious with it so I can understand why the novels go that direction because you kind of need more to write . If you’re going to do the events in the movie, it would probably be a pitcher book that you didn’t need much narration for.

Although instead of having humans going against Titians, we instead have humans going against our own kind believing we are pointless, boring and repetative as a species compare to colossal monsters fighting for food and territory that help heal the planet as a metaphor for the danger of misanthropy and toxic spectacle, even from the Godzilla fandom that's the catalyst of the Gojira-Megaprimatus war where Skar King notices the human race is turning on each other instead of serving him so he decides to destroy them all and have him seek to take his place as rulers of Hollow Earth when they go to war against Gojiras. Yes, we have eco-terrorists in King of the Monsters and they do play a role, but they're not misanthropists, especially Alan Jonah and Emma Russel.

I keep telling people this is the next move. It is the most logical as you can't keep this Mortal Kombat approach team-up BS. You can but only in the right circumstances. In reality, humanity would be so infuriated with this and all the death tolls that they would definitely fight back with mechanised-sized humans etc. They saw what Mecha did to G, getting his butt mopped up and down Causeway Bay to Kowloon. Don't think for a second they say hell we can do this in our control with pre-programmed AI. They coming for all those Titans to the point they might wipe a lot of them out with an armada. Then some way along the way there will be a void and a new superpower will emerge and this is where Destroyah can emerge from these protocols dating back to the KOTM bomb attack. This is why they are moving away from Windgard, he didn't focus on that aspect. he's great, but not for the next phases. maybe by endgame, he will be ok. Remember in the last film they talked about why Project Powerhouse was discontinued by the government. That's a sleeper plot right there. Big Gov is definitely planning a coup. Something along those lines and we will have a civil war within the govt too of people trying to protect Kong's Superteam and G from extinction. I honestly believe the government along with mechanised Titans will be under the umbrella of Project Destroyah. They are about to wipe out a lot of Titans! A LOT! FAFO! in Destroy All Monsters! then in the end it always goes haywire and we need G and Kong's armada to balance things out to fight the dictator in power.

Humans invading the Hollow Earth would begin the Extinction of Humanity as a Species. Godzilla would call upon the other Titans to completely wipe humans out, honestly Godzilla would only need Rodan (if alive), Behemoth and Shimo to completely wipeout Humanity. This could also result in Kong's death because Godzilla gives him the choice, help him drive out Humanity from The Hollow Earth and make them start a new from a small population or make Humanity go Extinct alongside the Ape Army or Kong, Suko and the other Great Apes die and Shimo more than likely submits to Godzilla and helps him drive Humanity to Extinction.

Then there's Kong who's in control of an army that was meant to conquer the surface. Hell, Shimo could do that on her own in a second and there would be nothing humanity could do about it. Also it seems like everyone's forgetting all the good Titans did for the Earth after KOTM. Didn't Scylla slow down global warming or something? And hasn't some Titan waste been used as valuable energy sources already? "The arrogance of man is thinking he is in control." - Ishiro Serizawa. "We are the infection." -Emma Russle. I swear if humanity doesn't learn after the next big threat, Godzilla will be the one to declare war

This is an extremely complex dilemma with no perfect solution, if any. The humans are justified in being afraid of titans and kaiju and are within their rights to take measures to safeguard themselves, their cities, and their way of life. What humans don't realize however, is the titans/kaiju, arguably, have as much right to live on Earth as the humans, if not more. The titans/kaiju serve subtle yet defining roles in the earth's ecosystem, as proven by how their radiation signatures/energies having an effect on the environments wherever they go, causing plants and vegetation to grow and presumably even restoring polluted environments (caused by humans) to clean and fertile areas where life can thrive better than it did before. In _King of Monsters,_ Dr. Mark Russell, due to the loss of his son for which he blames Godzilla, was of the vengeful opinion that all titans/kaiju should be destroyed while his ex-wife, Dr. Emma Russell, came to view humanity as a plague and pestilence ruining the world (which is true to a degree) and believed the titans/kaiju must be reawakened so that they can cleanse and restore the earth to ensure the continuation of life. Both came to realize the flaws and errors in their lines of thinking and made different choices to meet in the middle in order to stop King Ghidorah from overthrowing the world by helping Godzilla to defeat him. In _Godzilla vs. Kong_ the corrupt and megalomaniacal Walter Simmons sought to replace Godzilla with an artificial imitation under false rhetoric and insincere notions of protecting humanity by making Godzilla obsolete and vilifying him to turn humanity against him so that his creation, Mechagodzilla, would be regarded as the new protector of humanity, with Simmons himself coming out on top. But Simmons didn't really care about humanity at all, only seizing power over humans and titans alike, leading him to poke his nose into powers he shouldn't have and wind up being a victim of his own hubris when Mechagodzilla (possessed by King Ghidorah) killed him and endangering humanity further with a mechanical abomination that forced two alpha titans to work together in order to destroy so as to protect the world While both are indeed protectors, G and K are very different titans, with G more invested in protecting the world while K is more sympathetic to humanity. For G, human constructs, like cities, monuments, and such are inconsequential, and to a degree I am of the same mind. Cities and monuments can be rebuilt, but lives cannot be restored, and while Godzilla is all but certainly responsible for human casualties, those casualties would be much higher w/o him. Economy itself is inconsequential compared to the balance and preservation of our world and every creature living in it, and yet money is always the tired old excuse for humans, good or bad, to make waves and raise hissy fits becuz someone's property was destroyed or damaged. To be fair, it'd be heartbreaking to lose one's home in the crossfire between any battle, but I'd rather lose a house than lose my family and friends Kong has learned to tolerate most humans while accepting a few, like Jia, and his interactions with them, like u said, has taught the big ape that humans can be good or bad, enlightening Kong to the complexity of human beings. He is willing to recognize humans as allies, especially Jia and those of Monarch, and as such it keeps humanity in Kong's good graces, to a degree. Another thing that helps kong maintain a respect for humanity was his longing for a family, or at least others of his kind, which he finally found... except they were under the oppression of a tyrant, the Skar King. His determination to free them helped Kong grow in ways he hadn't before, that he was even willing to put his pride aside in a desperate attempt to ally with Godzilla... which was made possible by the intervention of the revived Mothra Of all the titans, I feel Mothra shares the truest connection and understanding with humanity by her association with the Iwi, and that benevolence has a positive effect on Godzilla that he willingly allied with Kong to stop the Skar King and Shimo, the latter of whom they set free, and together they saved the world. And yet, despite all of this, humanity is still angry and frustrated and scared, and they have every right to be. As I said, there's no perfect solution to these issues, but humanity has a terrible track record of making decisions, the kind of which they think will benefit them or are for the greater good... only to realize how badly they F'd up, and it takes someone else (like Godzilla or Kong or Mothra or some other capable entity/being) to step in and clean it up

the humans are way too eager to try and get rid of godzilla. the last time they almost killed him that resulted in ghidora rising to alpha status and causing an apocalypse. the army literally said that all known natural disasters were occurring at the same time around the world. they even said there were about 20+ others they didn’t even have names for yet. and this was just from ghidora and the other titans on the surface. now imagine the others titan in hollow earth getting involved. we already seen that one massive skeleton that kong and suko walked on. that one may be dead now but that doesn’t mean there are others in the depths of hollow earth. monarch said themselves that they’ve only explored about less than 5% of hollow earth and they find new passage ways every day. some day they may find a titan as skilled in air combat as rodan and as physically powerful as godzilla and maybe even more durable than shimo. not only that but the titans are made of radiation killing even just one could lead to a nuclear disaster even worse than chernobyl. the main reason why this hasn’t happened yet is because there’s always another titan like godzilla there to immediately absorb the radiation after death. we seen how fast godzilla himself can consume radiation in the recent movie but all the titans have a limit even him. that’s why after absorbing that radiation it was leaking off of him into the atmosphere and even melting the ground and boiling the water. even if humanity manages to kill all the titans it would certainly just lead to nuclear fallout cause they wouldn’t be able to contain the amount of radiation produced after

My thoughts are attacking godzilla would be stupid. It would cause more harm to humans then good. They would have to make sure all titans were dead quickly. And that godzilla would be dead. You can't simply bomb godzilla he feeds off the radiation from the bombs. It would super charge him. And make him go after humanity and leave no soul alive.

What is humanity gonna do? U detonated a nuke point blank at Godzilla didn't do anything but power him up. U tried offing him with an hydrogen bomb which didnt work, tried creating mechagodzilla which set him off. Your at his mercy right now just be grateful x move it on
