Reasons to Not Alert N2: 1. No Alert Achievement 2. Killed Someone N1 in the mafia in Ranked (Practice)

I would still Alert for reason 2. I've seen Mafia target the freshly alerted Vet immediately after a kill because it's logical to not alert. So it catches the Vet off guard and may pose the only real way they can kill a confirmed Vet in Ranked. Only time I wouldn't is if Witch was alive and I just got outted.

Actually at least in ranked, n2 is probably the worst night to alert unless you're pretty sure you're gonna get attacked. If maf killed n1 and an evil not lynched d2, then maf kill n2 and you alert killing some ti, it's gg.

Well in AA/CAA, you are better off alerting N2 because it's usually one of the most dangerous nights since it's a full moon night. And heck, even N3 (although more dangerous than N1) is safer than N2 because although Coven may start killing and Jugg should be able to kill every night, you should not expect a rampage kill on that night.

I have to ask if there is an reason to write when you alert in your will. I understand it’s so that you can quickly post it when pushed but I enjoy just putting down that I alerted every night and keeping a close eye on when I actually alert, if at all until late game, so that maf doesn’t know how many I have left thanks!

that's a cool idea! i usually only post vet will in whispers to confirmed townies; otherwise i still feel it could be helpful to have an accurate will of alerts to make sure it aligns with anyone who claims to have visited you

I definitely get that, and maybe thats something that I do in notes or at the bottom of my will so that way it can still get out there, if necessary, but definitely something I'll have to think about including

But if you have in your will that you alerted n2 and sheriff checked sou then town could lynch him if you are dead

@@l_h_2 Thats when I would give the real alerts away, because I always make sure to give 5 or more nights of me alerting even if its N2 so that they know Im not going to freely give that info up but also that I'll come forward and state when I did alert. It definitely isnt a perfect system but I really try to focus on end game with it so I still have 1 or 2 alerts at the end that I can use.
