@@KumoBear12 wow really, why not? I thought they did a fantastic job with the little amount of episodes allowed, also the way it ends kind of forced you to read the manga, right now I’m only up to volume 7 so I’m starting to see where the manga differs from the anime.

It's not bad, but considering Berserk has some of the best art and panelling in any manga, if it's anime adaptation isn't up to that standard with it's art and animation, or cuts scenes and characters like the 1997 does, I don't see why anyone would watch it, unless they hate reading lol. And like you say, it forces you to read the manga, but when you start reading the manga after the anime ends, there will be cut scenes and characters that will have you very confused
