I feel your Video. Since the last 25 Years, I worked 24/7 and exhausting myself without really realizing it. In the end, 5 Months ago, I had multiple Breakdowns and ended in Psychiatric Hospital where I stayed for two Months to begin reorganize my life.

Doing meditation daily and balancing 7 chakras in your body will help you to understand your life purpose. It could be different than just working in IT industry.

I am in the same situation right now and handed over the resignation recently. Toxic and hostile work environment, no support from management and endless work with tight deadlines. I have no back up plan but it started taking a toll on my mental health and I knew that's it.

It must not be an easy decision but toxic work environment can drain a person fast. I hope you are doing better post resignation 🍀

6:03 Tiny Habits was also very transformational for me. I didn't realize how much can change from applying them. One item about decluttering, and leaving out only the things to do, I saw not only decluttered the physical environment but it also reflected itself in clearing my mind. In some jobs stress builds up more than others. You can feel it and observe yourself. When that happens, there needs to be a change somewhere. In what you do, in the team, or company. Staying too long in burn out can affect health as well. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for sharing. This really helps. I guess the thing is we all know what to do in the situation like take a time off etc but the hard part is not all of us can do that for number of reasons. But one should do it if they before things go sideways.

What a data scientist can do, except job. Something his own work, but it should not be teaching others, or writing blog, (because that not the real/practical use of knowledge), so tell all or many things that I can do after being an expert data scientist, earn a good income and have freedom of time, It should be like I am working for myself.

Also try to focus on not multi-tasking, work on one thing at a time sequentially. Multi-tasking can cause burn out directly.

I have a question: I am a biology graduate (studied in French). I am planning to shift to data science. I’ve seen in many comments and posts that to be a data scientist, you need to learn statistics because it’s the core of data science. I want to obtain a university degree to ensure I have a good understanding of this field and leave room for future career development. I am committed to this path; I know it will be long and hard, but I want to choose the right undergraduate path. Should I study computer science because I have no knowledge of programming and coding, or should I major in statistics and add data analytics as a minor? Alternatively, is a community college sufficient to avoid wasting time and start learning while working, or should I just take a certificate on Coursera or any institute to become a data analyst and then start my journey to reach the highest position level? I am so confused; please help.

Sounds like you live to work than work to live. No one in the death bed has ever said “I wished I worked more “. Ask yourself, will you do the same work for free ? If you wouldn’t do it for free it’s not your passion- you just want the money!
