I worked on the foundations course for close to 3 months full time. I read literally EVERYTHING. I’m a slow reader too, so that didn’t help. It did leave me feeling very confident in my abilities. I got up to the Rock Paper Scissors project and I finished it on my own. The code probably isn’t super clean, but I’m so glad I was able to do it! I ended up getting a regular day job (not web dev related) a few days later so I haven’t had much of a chance to continue these last 5 months. I’m definitely going to keep going through the course because I think I’m at like 94% complete. Thank you for the encouraging video! It’s a grind, but so far I have learned a ton!

I did the javascript course on free code camp too but I mostly just did the odin project. I tried to keep it simple

You can install WSL2 and use it to emulate a linux terminal. You can search on youtube. Windows 10 is fine. Most of your work will be in the browser and in VScode so the computing power and speed doesn't matter so much
