The problem is every Tom, Dick, and Harry from India would strictly want to move only to Toronto or Vancouver. No Indian dude would even think of trying something different such as migrating to equally better cities such as Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Regina, PEI or other places. Hello please don’t post these kinds of videos this is really misleading people who start their career in canada, its been almost 2 years since i came here as a student and am really shaping myself better here, i paid my tuition fees and i also got scholarship. In canada survival is based on people’s way of thinking and intent towards their career if you feel canada is overrated and inflated, going back to India won’t really solve your problem it will instead increase your problem, maybe your daughter will have people to look after and you guys will some mental support around. So to conclude please don’t mislead things based on your life situation, there are families surviving here, its again based on individuals so stop it, and congratulations for your baby girl Best of luck for your future endeavours….

He is not misleading. Canada standard of living has done down by raising cost of living. I know this because I am living here for 21 yrs. The house prices have tripled yet wages did not increase to that level.

Living cost especially rents have doubled in the last 10 years or so. Even basement suites cost $1500+ . Unemployment is high. Salaries have not increased much. Like he rightly pointed out there can be very little or no savings. I think he has a fair message. One should be prepared to face financial challenges. The only silver lining is that the future for the children will be good. If they get a good education in Canada, their parents sacrifices will pay off. They can even move to US easily from Canada. Especially women have more opportunities, many Indian girls born there marry only in their thirties after establishing themselves in a good career. In India, many girls are married off in their early twenties due to financial difficulties. But I see India too is improving, weather is much better than Canada. Owning a small house in India is still within reach to many, but it is out of reach to many in Canada.
