yeah the next update should be pretty hype, I'm assuming we're getting Fused Zamasu (LR+), we know we're getting Beerus, SSB Goku+Vegeta and we might even get a UI Goku too

awtd updates generally seem to be more quality when they are not forcing a certain theme of characters. per example: Phantom troupe update, db update units are not cool at all. but then they cook so hard, when they legit just add whatever stuff they actually want. Like the anniversary update, new years update, halloween update.

For the teaser they dropped yesterday for the super update, I noticed they gave goku & vegeta their normal fit instead of the ROF clothes, which makes me salty as hell. Not sure about most, but I love the ROF clothes goku & vegeta got. Also one thing that really makes me doubt they know much about dragon ball is the dragon ball super suggestions channel.

with how long the maintenance and how long it was delayed I thought the quality of this update would have been amazing. Still, again the testers really didn't seem like they were doing anything. It looks like this update was just forgotten about and procrastinated, And I am super mad that one of the people on the team was saying a lot of the players arent actual anime watchers ,We were all fake fans of DBZ when they couldn't get some of the simplest dragon ball knowledge right. with all this said one of there biggest problems, in my opinion, is the testing team only person I really saw on the game during the maintenance was TAX who actually spends his time playing every update and wasn't playing honkai star rail for a majority of the maintenance.

I don't know if it's just me but I used to love grinding this game because it never felt boring, but ever since the Boros update the game just started falling off, besides the Halloween update, I haven't had fun in this game in months, if you only do progressive, you can't enjoy the game all that much anymore

i don't know i think this update wasn't that bad, call me whatever but i think this was a little less worked on update for the fact of all the of the other things they have planned. (part 2 dbz, Christmas, New Year's) i am not saying that anyone is wrong for saying that this updated did suck and it could of been better but i think that people need to give this game a lil more mercy.

So this update was the first big one Starkei the new co-owner of AWTD has done, not Galaxy Knight who usually does it. Tbh I've never watched DB so I have no idea how inaccurate everything is but there is kinda of just a lack of hype for any units both effects and balancing wise I'm seeing. Only good thing is Cell model is really nice. Idk might have been Starkei or another contributor like Kronito (a unit maker who delays his work and was the reason Stain released so late).

Base Broly HAS done some attacks. As for LSSJ.. it looks like they went with 2nd comings look for DBZ Broly. (2nd coming LSSJ was more Yellow vs Green, you can see this refelected in the WWC from dokkan as well) As for the vfx in general... yeah its pretty bad. The balancing is.. "okay", it could be improved in places (especially for Gogeta.) Hopefully DBS is better, but we'll see.

Sparking zero and Budokai are not the references. Base z broly never attacks because he's either frozen or under mind control. He always goes ssj first. The fight with Goku in movie 1 he goes into the suppressed super Saiyan state before he attacks.

I will continue to drive this point across until some developer actually does something. This game has THE most ABYSMAL mobile optimization of any Roblox game I've ever played. I mean don't get me wrong, 5 months ago I couldn't even open the game so this is a step up. But when I have to FIGHT for 30 minutes trying to JUST get into metal rush and crash when I hit the retry button I get incredibly unmotivated. I played this game on release, I got vegito when he first released, I remember the old lobby with Gilgamesh on the throne, and I am heartbroken by the fact I can barely even play this game. Nowadays I only long in to put in the codes and roll traits. They made mobile an RNG game.

ngl, i've noticed this with a lot of tower deefense games, they treat DB very poorly compared to other anime, which makes no sense in my mind. I could be wrong if there is one that doesn't, but the ones I have played have tended to do it poorly (ALS did fine imo, but i'm not the biggest on that game given it's so trait reliant for all the content)

I think they could've done better for the DBZ update (VFX, Event quests for all the new units for the sake of battle pass, maybe adjust the damage for certain new units, etc). I will say that the stages aren't bad, I apologize to cell because it gets difficult real fast if you don't take him out immediately. I think in the DBS update they could rework the animations/VFX of older units or try and do more with respect to the source material. I expected SSJ2 Gohan to have Father-Son Kamehameha as an ability similarly to Gilgamesh or Makima that requires X damage and is a one time use. 6.5/10 update

Ik nothing about the source material, and I'm gonna be fr, it doesn't take a dragon ball fan to know they kinda skimped out on this update. The new stages are a long, semi-tough grind for no reason to get all these units (and only a FEW even look unique). I'm still getting every unit myself, but yeah. idk if I'll actually use these new dbz characters so far...

I Stopped playing after the ui and map revamp I don't know I liked old AWTD and that's coming from someone who played on launch I feel like the schedule has never really been that good and I just loved it so much bc of it felt unique I still like it but I just stopped enjoying it as much when the revamp happened didn't feel like it needed to happen but those are just my thoughts.
